A Stylish and Practical Addition to Any Kitchen!
I recently invested in the Joseph Joseph Totem Bin for my kitchen, and I must say, it has been a fantastic addition to my home! This bin not only offers a sleek and modern design that complements my kitchen decor, but it also proves to be incredibly practical and efficient. One of the standout features of the Totem Bin is its clever compartmentalized design. It consists of separate sections for different types of waste, including general waste, recycling, and organic waste. This has greatly simplified my waste management process, allowing me to easily sort and dispose of different types of waste without any hassle. The removable inner buckets are a breeze to clean and maintain, ensuring optimal hygiene at all times.I am impressed by the capacity of each compartment, which is surprisingly generous. It can handle a substantial amount of waste before requiring emptying, making it ideal for busy households or those who generate a significant amount of trash. The well-thought-out design ensures that the bin remains compact and doesn't take up excessive space in my kitchen, despite its ample capacity. The Totem Bin is also equipped with various additional features that enhance its functionality. The odor filter system effectively minimizes unpleasant smells, keeping my kitchen fresh and odor-free. The built-in liner holder is a convenient feature that eliminates the need for separate bin liners, saving both time and money. In conclusion, the Joseph Joseph Totem Bin is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a stylish and practical waste management solution for their kitchen. Its compartmentalized design, ample capacity, odor control system, and durable construction make it a top-notch product. I highly recommend the Totem Bin for its functionality, convenience, and aesthetic appeal.

Love this bin !
The media could not be loaded. I am so obsessed with this bin that I have even named it! I can’t believe that I would be so excited about a bin . I have been searching for ages for a new bin as we have a small kitchen and was struggling with a round pedal bin plus recycling bags at the side of it. It was more expensive than I wanted to pay but is worth every penny as it has seriously transformed my kitchen. I was worried that I wouldn’t fit much in the 40l version but it is amazing how much it actually holds, much more than a round bin . It is so cute that I want to keep it clean and even look forward to emptying it as soon as it needs it to keep it looking good. The lid opens when the silver button is pressed and flips up quite quickly so make sure you have enough height above so that it doesn’t smack into anything and scratch the lid . The bottom bin I use as recycling with 2 carrier bags in it , this part slides open and is on wheels which is not mentioned in any of the blurb , but it is very smooth to open and close . I thought i would just be dragging it along the floor to open it, but was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the castors are. The top section is metal and the bottom section is plastic but they don’t look any different until you touch them , the colour is perfectly matched and the plastic does not cheapen it in any way . The colour is as description says stone , not cream or grey but somewhere in the middle. I have a cream kitchen and it fits in lovely with my colour scheme. I went for the totem pop rather than the totem as it looked more compact and was a lot cheaper . I seriously cannot recommend this bin enough ! The only negative is the price of the bin bags but I am looking to see if there are any cheaper alternatives that will fit. It’s a 10/10 from me .

Ideal for those with limited space!
I had my eye on this bin for a while but couldn't justify the price tag then it dropped by £35 so I bought it as I was fed up with having a recycling box that I had to keep moving and just generally cluttered the kitchen! I have no regrets, both the bin and the recycling compartment have more than enough room in, the carbon filter seems to do a good job of keeping smells at bay. The only thing I have to complain about is the actual Joseph Joseph bin liners are expensive & there's no cheaper alternatives but a 50 litre normal bin liner fits (just fold the bottom slightly) so I probably won't be buying them again!

Perfect for compact kitchen
Very impressed with this. Did a ton of research and this was the best by far. Has 2 compartments, one for household waste with built in filter (no smells) and one for recycling. Stacked design is compact and looks great. Household size is 2 and often host and big enough. Would recommend.

Love it!
I love this bin! I spent ages looking at other cheaper bins, I wasn’t really looking to pay so much for a bin! Now, I’m really pleased I decided to go for it, the bin is great! It’s good quality and sturdy. There’s loads of room for separating rubbish, you can split the top compartment using 2 bags, it’s really easy to attach them. The bottom compartment is on wheels so easy to move.A great bin and worth the money

Great bin, but with a very Joseph Joseph price tag.
Great for sorting landfill waste and recycling, and does it in a pretty space-efficient way. Still, the bin does take up a reasonable space and so is perhaps only suited to larger kitchens or spaces with dedicated ‘bin space’.As a unit, whilst it is functionally well thought through, it does feel a little flimsy. Looks like (and costs as though) it should be more substantial in terms of robustness, but the walls/lid/locking mechanism of the bin feel a little flimsy. May be more durable than it looks- only time will tell.
