I use moleskine notebooks - and they’re a bit pricey but have a good reputation.These books are a very reasonable price, and are very Very nice books from the multitudes of notebooks I’ve used.The cover is nice quality, has a pocket in the back. The dual ribbons is a great touch, numbered pages, table of contents in the front.If you’re an artist these are good books. Not noticed any smear from when the books are closed.Ink works nicely on them and you don’t have to worry about bleed through when using both sides of the page.Plus the dots aren’t visible once you’re getting near the end of the drawing.Any artists curious if you should buy the dual notebook pack - do it. My moleskine is now my prelim/ journal and this book is where I transfer more progressed drawings to.Would have preferred to be able to select the two different colored books because I wanted green and not the black but doesn’t really matter.The photos show the quality great. The cover overlaps the pages so the pages don’t bend at the edges.Didn’t like the color of the paper at first but it’s grown on me.

I've have this a few months and LOVE IT. It does have stark white paper and pointed paper edge corners, which I didn't think I would care for, but I love this notebook! I usually get Leuccturnn (probably not spelled right, but whatever), but I'm going to keep getting these because they are very affordable and just as good if not better quality paper and cover in my opinion. There is a little ghosting, but I've never cared about that.

The pages are all numbered and the first few pages have a table of content section. The paper is incredibly thick and smooth. I’ve tested it with several pens and markers. Very good with water based markers no bleed through with those. Alcohol markers definitely bleed through but that’s expected. Fountain pen ink will smudge initially but given some time to dry it stays on the page pretty well. Micron pens and fine liners don’t smudge at all. I love that all the pages are numbered already makes it very easy for my book journals. The covers are pretty strong and great to decorate with stickers if you want. It’s overall a great buy for the price. The size is also perfect to fit in handbags for travel.May 21,2025So I’ve been using this journal and I’ve bought at least 4 times and I find that the quality of the paper has gone down. I write with fountain pens and the paper in the newer ones I’ve bought has the ink spreading and coming through on the other side which never used to happen. Still decent but I’m disappointed by that.

I got a 2 pack, I was so impressed with the quality I got 100 more 2 packs in various colors for my engineers. It should last a few years. Awesome note books. My guys really like them.
