KS1 Maths Year 1 Daily Practice Book: Summer Term (CGP Year 1 Daily Workbooks)

My son loves this workbook for its color and creativity, and I couldn’t agree more! We used it over the summer and made full use of it.

I bought this to support my child with their maths work at home and I love it. It's are simple to follow, have great illustrations and colour.It recommends one page a day, which takes 10 minuets to complete, but I did not find this was the case and my child does not take 10 minuets to do one page. I don't think it really explains very well how it would take 10 minuets, perhaps explaining the task and practising a bit before they complete a page is what they intended nevertheless, I love these books and plan to buy the for all my children.

We love these books and buy the appropriate one each term. It gives our daughter the continuity at home to continue what she is learning or has learnt at school. The pages are easy to follow and she can normally read the instructions and complete the pages herself. If not then I read it with her and she is able to get started. We don’t necessarily do it everyday or follow page by page but it has the week number and day number at the top of the page which is good. The page won’t take long to complete, perhaps a couple of minutes so it is something you could easily fit into your day perhaps after breakfast it’s that quick to use.

Simple to use and daughter enjoys them. However, it doe not progress as the description suggests, some very hard pages near the beginning followed by very simple pages. Product description states that the activities get progressively harder through the term. I would also state that this is more for autumn term rather than summer, some activities very simple for suggested age.

My kid loves this for practice. Done 7 pages straightaway once received it. She wants to do more pages. Very good. Definitely recommend it
