Big Joe Captain's Float No Inflation Needed Pool Lounger, Double Sided Mesh, Quick Draining Fabric

Love it !! Love the pretty colors and the (larger than I thought)size and comfort! These are excellent quality floats and would definitely recommend them.

I love this thing! A couple things that could be improved: it could use more foam beads/pellets for a bit more support. Water does soak up through the seat of the float. You won’t be submerged entirely, but I am 108lbs and it’s only 1.5” away from sinking down into the water. It is very heavy when you pull it out of the water at the end of the day to dry out and drying out does take a bit. If you can get past those small cons, you will love it! It’s comfortable, convenient, seems to be durable, doesn’t have to be inflated and just a fun float! I would not recommend this for rowdy kiddos though. You certainly wouldn’t want the contents clogging up your pool filter should it bust open.

I haven’t found any of the white lounge chairs for tanning shelves to be comfortable, so I ordered the big Joe beanbag float to see if it would work. It is so comfortable, I may never get up again!My only dissatisfaction was that the box arrived with one flap open and beans everywhere. When I tried to find the source of the beans, it turned out the inner zipper of the beanbag was halfway open. Weird.We’ll see how durable the bean bag will be - not sure the seams are the strongest! I would recommend some welting for higher quality/durability.

Don't sit in this until you are ready to not move for a while !It is so comfy you won't want to get up .I have not used in water ... only on a sandy beach so cannot speak to that aspect but it is great as a lounging chair ... far more comfortable than the nylon mesh folding beach chairs I am accustomed to though a bit warmer as well without a mesh airflow . They are designed to be a pool floating chair so probably lovely used that way . I love mine and would recommend . Lightweight ... easy to clean ... a bit bulky though since they do not deflate so need a good sized vehicle if carting around a lot of this type of thing . Drink cup hole a nice addition :)

I purchased this float back in May and at first it was absolutely wonderful. I like how buoyant it is, I like the color and the quality felt really good.Fast forward to August and the mold spots started appearing and multiplying. This happened on all three of the Big Joe pools floats that I purchased between May and July of this year.I store these floats out of direct rain on my screened in pool lanai in Florida. They seem to dry fully between uses. When I messaged the company they told me to clean the floats with diluted bleach, which I did on all three, and the mold disappeared for about 3 weeks before reappearing in full force.I’m so bummed because these were an investment. I purchased the big Roma float, the lay flat float (direct from their site), and also the cupholder in the matching blue and white striped pattern, and all three are moldy. Such a let down.

I can't speak highly enough about these floats. We bought two of them and they can't be more perfect. You're not entirely out of the water but you're also not entirely submerged so you stay cool enough in the heat. The float will form to whatever shape you'd prefer, whether it's laying back flat or sitting upright. There's a handy side pocket for your phone (if it's in a waterproof case) and a cup holder. These floats aren't designed to get wild and crazy with so if you have rambunctious kids or rambunctious adults I wouldn't put these out for them to use. The Styrofoam beads are loose inside the float (as opposed to having their own "containment system") so if it blows a seam from rough play you will have beads in your pool. But the loose beads are precisely what makes this float perfect because you can make it whatever sort of chair you'd like. If relaxing on a float is your idea of perfect pool time then theses floats are perfect for you!

As a smaller person I found this float to be absolutely awesome! I fell asleep while floating! However my larger friend wasn’t as comfortable and had a hard time getting situated. While Big Joe seemed well constructed I was very careful with hauling it in and out of the water. Be prepared to let it dry overnight if is going to be transported. I love the blue and green happy high visibility color but wish the backside weren’t white from a dirt perspective. Hours of comfortable floating ( and if the water is chilly its possible to stay on the dry side while floating. )

Absolutely STUPID how this thing transforms me into the king on my throne of pool land!
