Deck Tan or LIght Gull Grey FS36440
The name of the paint is Deck Tan, but the FS number of FS36440 which is the matte version of the gloss Light Gull Grey FS 16440.Although comparing it to Vallejo's actual FS 16440 it is a bit lighter/tanner. However, that is probably because gloss tends to be a little darker in appearance. Regardless, it made a great "Light Gull Grey" paint color for the Navy High Vis schemes on the jets of my 1/700 scale Kitty HawkTypical nice Vallejo paint quality otherwise

Great acrylic paint in the color I was looking for
This is a lighter Deck Tan when compared to Tamiya Deck Tan, however this should do the trick when painting or airbrushing the decks on those model IJN carrier models. This is a very good option! Works great for airbrushing, just be sure you thin the paint.I’m very satisfied with Vallejo’s acrylic paints and this one is no exception, get it! And get yourself a nice IJN Akagi model to get your fix for all things naval modeling related.

Great paints as always form Vallejo!
I use these for modelling and various other tasks. I really like the paints as they are water removable when wet and waterproof when dry. Can be removed or cleaned off using isopropyl alcohol, or other similar solvent.Applies smooth, great coverage - highly recommended.

Paint container half full, loose cap
The paint container came half full with the lid loose. The lid also had a very sticky substance on it.
