These work well and there are a lot of them in the package. They are not as tightly or securely wound as they could be, resulting in lots of stray strands in and out of the box., Those strands are flammable, so it’s not just a cleanliness thing.

This is an excellent product. The fire on the starter lasts for long enough time, allowing me to light charcoals in 1/3 or 2/3 of the chimney using one or two of them, respectively. It is made of wood and wax, and no annoying remnant or smell is produced after burning. I recommend to use it to replace paper as the fire starter.

They're much more affordable than Home Depot and I was fortunate he was able to tell me to get them on Amazon instead.These are easy to use and makes burning charcoal so much easier without the use of lighter fluid. I didn't feel safe driving a long distance during the heat wave and I'm glad I bought these. I've even used this when there was a lot of moisture in the air. I didn't have a problem lighting my grill even then!They're small and they can be messy. I don't recommend storing these in the box they came in. I only had a ziplock bags and it was enough.

Bought these to start fire in pizza oven that used the wood pellets. The material looks sort of like very tightly woven straw it lights easily and burns for a good while started pellets no problem. Also has no chemical or starter fluid added
