KuRoKo Premium PU Leather Case Cover with Hand Strap, Pen Holder for boox nova pro 7.8/boox nova 2/boox nova 3/boox nova 3 Color

It's hard to find a case of this type for the onyx boox 2. This cover encloses the reader much more securely than the snap in one that comes with the reader and this one is also much more inexpensive than the onyx brand case. One thing I particularly like about this case is the design of the stylus holder. It does stick out to the side like some reviewer(s) have stated but I think it provides better protection for the stylus tip than any others I've seen. The holder has the usual elastic loop to hold the stylus but it also a little tab pocket the stylus slides into to keep the tip from getting bumped. The magnetic closure is sleeping and waking as it should. Stitching is neat and seems secure. The part that folds to make a stand seems floppy but it is secure and comfortable to read with the reader on a table, chest or stomach. Have not had the case long enough to have a judgement on durability but the case looks and feels well made and the price is very reasonable.

okay, so I fully admit to being bamboozled by the Boox and thought it would be great. it doesn't. it's terrible. I hate it so much. but this case... It's pretty great. I'm not sure my tablet has sleep mode. but the pen holder is great and the case folds really well too. I'm a lefty, so the hand strap is on the wrong side for me... but otherwise, it's easy to hold, it's not too bulky. it stands up on its own. it does everything it is asked to do and appears to be holding up well after all these months. in conclusion, if you're dumb enough to buy a Boox, be smart and buy this case.

Like others have said, it's not leather but is a fabric like material that is coated with a soft, smooth plastic surface (kinda has the texture of fake leather) which is not a bad thing it feels nice in the hand and looks way better than I expected. Definitely worth it considering how inexpensive the price is. All the stitching looks good and no loose threads. I am using this with the Boox Nova 2 and it fits just fine, I do however, think its a bit of a pain to get it in the case. Nothing really bad about it just a few nit picky things, I'd prefer that the pen holder was a little more tucked away in the case, it does seem to hang out there a bit. And the way the cover folds to prop it up kinda give the cover a slight bow in the middle and doesn't sit perfectly flat against the device. (Maybe after more use and it gets broken in a little the cover should sit flat. This does not prevent the cover from locking and unlocking the device and the magnets hold the cover on pretty tight.I'm very pleased with this cover.

Initially I was impressed for the money the structure of this case, but the magnets aren't triggering the sleep/wake. Also, because of the design of the enclosure, I have to slip my Boox out of the case any time I want to use it, since the power button is covered.That said, it's keeping my e-reader safe and looks nice.

The description says that it can fit the Nova Air C but it doesn't. Sure it does fit in the case, but the buttons aren't accessable. Also, if you plan on using the hand strap, then the case will constantly open and close because the magnet is very weak. Basically, this case is just good as an extra for protection, but it just creates more unnecessary inconveniences.

UPDATE: 5 STARS!!!! I JUST HAD a mildly misaligned case. My new one works perfectly.The case is very close to being perfect; very complete enclosure around the Nova 3, should withstand any drop scenario (unless you drop it (1) open (2) completely face down parallel to the ground and (3) right onto a spiked object) Aside from that I feel this case provides much better protection than the Onyx brand cases.HOWEVERMy gripe is with the magnetic closures. They're weak. Furthermore, for me to have the lid activate my "sleep" function on my Nova 3, I have to actually close the lid and pull it downward (towards the front button on the Nova 3) about 1/4 ", hold it there for a few seconds, and then will it lock my unit. If I just close the lid without repositioning it my unit stays unlocked and open for anyone to read my notes. Not. Cool.I've tried taking it out of the case and the magnets are relatively weak, so that precise positioning is critical. I'll be returning this case and getting another maybe it's just a single problem with my case. However, please don't let this review dissuade you from buying this case. It really is a well-made product, and I'm definitely going to given them a second shot.Another reason to not let my review sway you is this: look at all the other reviews. If this really were a big deal, you'd see a bunch of others complaining about it, but you don't. So it just must be me.

Inserted Books Nova Color 3 and it fit snugly, and the sleep magnet worked. The stand works well, and helps give more hand hold angels (it comes untucked a little to easily, but with some use I believe it will break in nicely). I wish there were more colors available. It's juuuust a little thick for my tastes. But the padding probably makes it more protective with the thickness.

This is a really solid case for my Onyx Boox Nova 2. The fit is nearly perfect, though it takes a little bit of messing around to get it just right. The case protects the device in all the spots that I'd expect it to without getting in the way of the screen. There is a little strap on the inside front cover that allows you to easily hold it with one hand, and there's a little wedge on the back that allows you to place the tablet upright on a table, both good functions. There are only two things that I would change about this case. 1) given how important the pen is to using one of these e-ink writing/ereader tablets, I wished there would be slightly more protection for the pen, which seems to be a bit out there. 2) I wish there was a way to secure the front cover when it's flipped back. These criticisms are really minor and do not take away from the functionality of the case in any significant way. Still a great case, that costs less than the official case
