I use this for frozen dog food. Haven't noticed any difference in electric. Now able to buy dog food monthly instead of fortnightly, so cheaper. It's quiet. Have a layer of frost but will defrost when next food delivery due and maybe lower the setting. Did buy a rubber welly mat to go under it. Size is just right, functions well

Dry neatly fits in behind my kitchen door. Makes very little sound if any. Produces a light frost but has a small drainage hole inside if required to defrost. Just pull the plug out and replace it once defrosted. I’ve had it for a couple of months now and so far not needed to defrost. I use it for all my raw meats and put frozen veg in top basket. It’s great if you just need a bit more space in your usual freezer. Small. Neat. Quiet. Very happy.

Had this freezer for under 10 days when it stopped working !! Opened to add a few more items to find the freezer WARM ! The lights were still on, but it had stopped working ! All the items inside had turned to mush !! Frozen veg, Christmas food prep, Salmon and sea bass fillets, stock all gone !SIA are saying as a policy "They do not compensate" instead offering a discount off another product as a "goodwill gesture" as if I will ever buy anything from them again after what they put me throughPlease avoid SIA products, they are not worth the hassle and definitely not worth the money
