Yes, you can use an Ethernet cable. And AFAIK, it is a newer printer, 6200 is a higher number than 5200.

Don't buy this printer. I have purchased over 30 for my company and they have a 100% failure rate after 1 year. We have switched to the Lexmark ms610dn, which you can buy with the word "dell" on it (3460) for a huge discount until the end of July. Brother has a faulty fuser. The Dell will do everything you need, quieter, faster, and for the same cost. You can buy an aftermarket 20,000 page toner cartridge for about $180. That's about .006 cents per page. But the drum is about $35. Way cheaper than brother.
