34" LaserPoint 3 Vinyl Cutter Plotter with Contour Cutting, Vinyl, Tape, Tools (Bundle)

Update: Ok this thing is amazing. I’m cutting all sorts of material it is not rated for. In the video you can see I’m cutting a 0.25inx0.75in sealing washer for a project. To prevent the material from jamming (cause it’s very flexible and hard to cut), I have those wrenches applying a force downwards. You might say I might damage my machine. That’s totally ok though. These projects that I have are quarter a million each. So if I end up buying more of these laserpoint cutters, it’s still worth doing. I love this machine. Has already saved me soooo much time and money Original: At first I was a bit upset about having 3 pinch rollers cause it kept jamming my wider than 24in cuts. But I was able to buy 2 additional pinch rollers from their website. They have 5 (6 but 2 are as one) pinch roller locations but only 3 rollers come with it. You really need 4 or 5 for a wide sheet. In the picture, you can see my cutter with 5 pinch rollers. I have even cut 2mil thick Kapton tapes for my electronic projects (which is what I bought this for). These tapes are starting at $11/ft. I mount them on paper or vinyl using a very low tack adhesive cause they are so thin the rollers would just pinch them. You can see 2 sheets cut in the next picture. Each sheet is 2mil (0.002in = 0.05mm) thick. So you can see that this device is capable of cutting such a delicate job.

Good quality equipment, came with easy to follow directions, minimum tools required for assembly, one wrench for tightening up casters and Phillips driver for rest. Came double box6in heavy walled cardboard and ample retention foam to prevent product damage during shipping. Assembly took about 30 minutes, make sure to use included screw guide for assembling stand legs, it's included to avoid dropping screws into legs, but all is in instructions, just have to read them. The included vinyl products came in separate box nicely packaged as well, no damage to vinyl or equipment. Did lots of searching and research, finding this plotter/cutter buldle to offer the most quality, features, software, and support to other similar priced or more expensive units with less. The vinylmaster cut program included is good for basic no frills stuff, but recommend upgrading to pro, at anytime there's an upgrade option to choose getting 50% off, which is also cheaper than getting everything separate. In conclusion, get the bundle, upgrade software for cheap, choose vinyl colors, and start designing/cutting. Has many guides, tutorials, and help links if needed.

Great deal! half the cost of comparable name brand products. Contour Cuts with included software is acurate.

I purchased this to make stickers for a project and I always wanted one. I was having a slight problem with the software and called customer service and they immediately fixed the problem and in less than 5 minutes I was creating my own stickers.

This is my second one! First one had a frozen carriage. Now this one will not connect to the software, no matter what trouble shooting they do! I gave them a second chance, no go. What a piece of crap!!! Service stinks! I cant believe I am gonna have to send another one back after 1 day again!!!! Way to go US cutter! $900 peice of crap!!!

I am very impressed with this vinyl cutter. Never had i used one and the installation was very easy. I recommend this to anyone. Follow the instructions and in no time you will start cutting. Don’t hesitate to buy this vinyl cutter

Easy software fast, and not to loud

When we received our LaserPoint 3 Vinyl Cutter a large part of our purchase decision was due to the included license for Vinyl Master Cut sofware to run it. The cutter has been running fine and we are very happy with the hardware. We use the machine for our prototyping and fabrication business. Here is the reason for my low rating: Recently the computer that was running our LP3 crashed and we lost the Vinyl Master Cut program on that machine. When we tried to restore the software on another machine, we found that the license key (PSN) has now been issued to someone else outside of our organization and we are not able to recover it. The software is bundled through a "partnership" between US Cutter and Future Corp, but Future Corp and US Cutter have not been forthcoming with a solution to resolve this isse so far. We have been trying for over a week now to restore the license key. I will update this review when / if there is a resolution to my issue. Buyers be prepared for the possibility that you will need to shell out additional $$ for software to run your machine if you purchase a US Cutter plotter.
