Yes washable and reusable. Have done this several times and have retained its elasticity.

Does it get too hot to be used in summers on a head full of hair?

the material is very comfortable,but during summer days,if one is out in the sun wearing it can cause little sweating,but if one is riding a 2 wheeler it wont be uncomfortable.

First purchase of this cap, comfort and quality was excellent. And because of the nice quality I ordered 2nd, but the second one received was the worst, didn't fit on head properly and the product quality was compromised.

it's a thin elastic cloth

it may reach up to the ears but is slippery,can't cover your ears.....the size I got was small .material quality is good eventhough it is thin....returned for a refund
