Perfect gift
I gifted this to an eight year old with autism whom is fascinated by WW2. He now keeps it in his Dad’s safe. He loves it.

Nice piece of history
I enjoyed opening it up and reading about the contents. I never knew that the penny from 1944 to 1945 was made from recovered copper from battlefields and Naval ships. Does anyone know when the Japanese dollar was printed? I can only assume it was in 1941, but there is no way of telling because the money only has a serial number and (in my case) a 2 number in brackets {15}. And would anyone know why the Japanese used the word Peso to identify their money instead of Yen? Isn't the Peso used by Spanish countries?

Husband was surprised!!
My husband loves history and I wanted to gift him something he could collect and something valuable. HE was so ecstatic when I gave him this for Father's Day. He was so surprised. Well worth the money. This is real money. Highly suggest leaving in the book so it doesn't lose value. We have this in our curio cabinet along with his other collectors coins. People are always so inspired when they see and read the story about the History of this money!!
