I purchased two of these along with two toy organizers for my children, and I - without a doubt - purchased the RIGHT toy box. It holds a very good amount of big toys (I purchased the toy organizers for legos, and other small toys so my children wouldn’t have to dig through their box to get to them) and not to be dramatic, but it’s been life changing. I’m not kidding.This has gotten my childrens rooms SO organized and well put together and they haven’t been before. I LOVE the hydraulic legs on the top which prevents little fingers from getting smashed, and I love that it doubles as a bench when they’re not playing. The boxes are so cute, well made & very sturdy. If your children are like mine and make plenty of messes, these are very easy to wipe down as well. They’re not too big and bulky but they’re the perfect size for what we needed. I searched high and low, read hundreds of reviews & settled for this box, but it definitely wasn’t “settling”. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was so nervous to drop so much money on something I wasn’t 100% sure about, but now I am so happy I did. This has been one of the best purchases I’ve made to date. I can NOT recommend this toy box more.

I was totally surprised the quality and workmanship of this toy box. The toy box was very easy to put together, with excellent fit and quality hardware. The directions were very easy to follow with large illustrations and clear direction steps. The finished product looks and feels outstanding. Extremely solid and sturdy, but with simple, elegant appearance. One key feature I really liked are the hydraulic lid supports. The lid supports allow a small child to easily and safely raise and lower the toy box lid. The lid gently closes and can never accidentally close on you or a child using the box. This is an outstanding feature.Additionally, KIdKraft's customer service is outstanding. Our toy box arrived with some slight damage to the shipping carton. When I opened the box, I noticed that the toy box lid had a slight blemish that would be visible. We called customer service and they immediately shipped us a replacement lid. No questions, no need to return the damaged lid, and no hassles. Great service.This product is an outstanding value. We purchased this box for our toddler grand-daughter toys at our house. We are so please with this toy box and with KidKraft that we recommended it to our daughter and several of our friends with young grandchildren.

We bought this for a friend's son who just turned 2. We were impressed by the look of it and the sturdiness once it was put together. The hinge helps it to stay up and won't fall on little fingers. It is small enough to fit into anywhere in your house. Nice product.

Easy to put together. This product is very durable. It has been put through 5 moves now and is still standing strong. Super easy to assemble..

I got this because as my infant has gotten older they have gotten more and more toys. This box is a good size for where we are at- it holds a large cube of toys plus his little sitting chair thing. I like that the top is sort of set up like a bench- we threw a blanket on top and the cats love to lay on it.The hinges are solid and the lid stays up with the help of two hydraulic cylinders, so that is nice that it stays up and doesn’t really slam down. The handles on the sides are an added bonus and make it easy to move around.Overall assembly took me about 20 minutes with the included hardware and a screwdriver, and I was setting it up by myself. It is solid once assembled and holds an ok amount of toys. I’m sure we will need bigger in the future.Overall 4/5. A nice product!

I got a toy box from Walmart a long time ago as a gift for my toddler. It was flimsy and the bottom broke in nearly a week. I knew I had to get an updated version as my daughter is in her last few glory years of playing with toys (although it pains my heart..) I wanted her to have something fashionable but aesthetically pleasing and not a hazard when I had her friends over for her play dates and such. So I bought this on a whim seeing its great reviews and I have to admit I’m blown away. The size is fantastic for the price. Her toys aren’t even to the top yet. And she has a lot of toys. It fits fabulously in the corner of her room and is so sturdy she can sit on top of it as a seat. It’s a beautiful white color with zero imperfections. Big pain in the butt to put together, so I had to have my room mate do it for me. But he got it done in about an hour... the instructions were very confusing and he hardly used them. So my only complaint would be the assembly. But to assemble a real wooden chest I suppose it takes time and work. It’s well worth it.

This toy box has a amazing safety feature the lid locks open so as not to fall down on little ones… I use this as a dog toy box and it serves its purpose.
