DefenderPad Laptop EMF Radiation & Heat Shield (Black)

I feel a difference when using this pad. It absorbs the emitted EMF and it is handy to use it.

Does exactly what I wanted it to, keeps the heat off my lap.

Must have for all laptop users. Get protected by emf. Nice colours too. Little on the heavy side though.

I feel so much better after using one of these for a few weeks, dont use your laptop/tablet on your lap/ without one.

I think this defender pad does what it says it does, although it's not easy to know for sure without a proper radiation detector. I do remember feeling a little tingle near my hip when I was using the laptop without the pad and that tingle is gone. One thing I notice though is that the defender pad is quite heavy. I guess there's a reason for it, but the fact is that the weight of the pad plus the laptop makes it a bit uncomfortable after a while. But that's not enough to stop me from using it, considering that health is above all the most important thing and having a radiation emitting device like a laptop (or a tablet) near the reproductive organs for hours and hours every day is certainly something that I want to avoid. Recommended.

I notice a difference when I use it, while holding the laptop in my lap, as opposed to when I do not use it. My legs don't hurt as much when I use it, and I don't feel the heat from the computer. The DefenderPad has a nice grip on it, so it doesn't slide all around. It's a nice color, and style, and pretty sturdy! My son bumped it and it fell off the counter (with the laptop sitting on it), and it only cracked it partially. Still completely usable and holds together just fine. Can't even tell it's cracked. (Yes, the computer survived!! In fact, it was probably the DefenderPad that saved it, as the computer stayed on top of it the pad as it fell!)

This is an excellent Laptop EMF Radiation Shield. I used to have my laptop on my lap and I could feel my nuts heat up. I knew radiation was slipping through. Now my nuts heat up no more and I feel a lot more safer with my laptop on this shield over my lap.

This is one of those products I wish I knew about sooner! I have been using laptops for nearly 2 decades and never given much thought about how much wireless radiation I am exposed to. It isn't until recently there have been much more awareness on the topic that I had to take action. One of those actions is buying this pad. The pad itself is very simple and very good quality. It has a nice rubber surface layer that sits on top of a sturdy tray. The rubber area grips to the laptop and absorbs heat. But if you are someone, like me, who tends to have their knees up it will slip down against your belly. Which is okay, since that is how I typically use my laptop but it still remains on top of this pad and still blocks any wireless radiation from below. As for heat this pad helps a lot. Since it is a flat surface there be improved air flow equivalent to using a laptop on a desk. Depending on how hot your laptop gets you will either feel no heat on the bottom or a small amount that one has to specifically touch the bottom to feel. If your laptop's fans are always whirling and running hot no matter what then I highly recommend to open it up and use canned air. I do this on mines every 6 months and it makes a big difference! This pad will not solve major overheating issues but will greatly lessen the heat has on your body. As for the wireless radiation blocking portion I haven't done any tests since I don't have one of those EMF meter thingies. They are quite expensive, especially a good one! This pad is designed to only reduce wireless radiation from below, which is very important, especially if you are a male. Although I can't say how much it reduces it by what I can say is that after a few weeks of use I do feel less fatigued than I usually did before. This is one of those products that is used daily without thought... until the laptop gets so hot that you are then reminded of it cuz you forgot to use it!

Pas de vraie protection contre la chaleur. Cela retarde peut-être légèrement la transmission mais ne la bloque pas. Chaleur identique avec ou sans. Pas d'amélioration de confort et le produit est couteux. Pour le rayonnement, je ne peux vérifier.

It works as advertised. However there is air inside the pad after a few months of light use. So for the air, which shouldn't exist, I'm taking one star off.
