Bought this for my 12 year old daughter. Got it strung and was shooting in no time. The arrows included had blunt tips for safety but worked fine against cardboard boxes and hay bales. The arrows seemed durable even when glancing off trees and metal backstops. Quality looks pretty good, but I feel like it was SLIGHTLY over-priced, but compared with similar items, it was in the same price range or even a bit cheaper. That said, it works well, and the draw weight is low enough for my daughter to pull to full extension, but fun for me to shoot with as well. Definitely a beginner/youth bow and arrow set as described so don't expect to be hitting targets at very long ranges. Note that to fit in the shipping box one of the pieces of the bow is disassembled. Easy to click into place and works fine, but I had a moment of thinking it was broken before I realized. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this item for my 11 yr. old granddaughter's Birthday. When she told me she was learning archery in school, I decided this would be a desirable gift. I would recommend this set for young teens. I chose this one mainly becauseof the number of arrows included. Her excitement upon examiation proved my gift worthy.

My boys started taking an archery class. These bows and arrows are perfect to learn on. You do have to be careful with the arrows. The fiberglass splinters when they begin to wear out. The bows are perfect for young teens.

Bought this for an 11 year old's birthday who had tried archery in camp. He loves it. No problems putting it together. The arrows are blunted which was a feature that I like. He has the target on a hay bale and the arrows will stick in there, but aren't so sharp that it is a constant worry. It is a little harder to pull back than the set he used in camp, but he adjusted quickly. It would also work for an older child or beginner of any age. He has only had it a week, but so far/so good!

My 10 year old took right to it! Never a lesson, only toys every now and again, but buy the end of his first set of arrows, he had already improved and was enjoying shooting our pumpkins. It was a great bonding experience for him and my vet husband, too. Hope it holds up. Will update after Winter.

We loved the size and sturdiness of the bow and arrows. The only set back was the paper target. It cannot be used on its own, unless you stick it to a thermocol and hoist it to a height of your choice. I chose to use my plastic plant containers instead. Posted a video of it. That served my purpose and gave a good effect when the bow hit one of them. My kid really enjoys playing with this. I see to it that I don’t leave him alone when he plays with it. You know precaution is always the name of the game. The bows have metal tips. I like it because it helps building your focus.

I bought this set for a cosplay (Kate Bishop for those curious). For the price it was truly unbeatable. Looks great, carries well. I definitely banged the ends of the arrows against many walls/stands/unsuspecting patrons and they held up perfectly. The accents also took my purple paint well! Not sure if this review is any help to those who want to buy this to *actually* use it, but for cosplaying it's a 10/10 from me.
