I have been buying your cocoa powder for years, and never had a complaint. It was the real thing. But my last batch bought September 2024, is not Valrhona. Color and taste is OK but inferior. I bought the 3 kilo professional box from Valrhona directly, and you can see the difference in my picture. The silver bag is the same, and does not carry any label, beside what the 3-pack box says. And the price pr oz was less. I am OK with you reselling the Valrhona for a bit more, that's your mark-up. But to pawn off an inferior quality Cocoa as Valrhona will not make me come back again. I am going to the source- for less.

If you want a dark, rich chocolate, the Valrhona chocolate is what you are looking for. This has a deep, rich chocolate taste and color. Make sure it is Valrhona. Don't settle for a knockoff.

I love Valrhona Cocoa for baking and I also use it for making homemade hot cocoa. I love that it is not sweetened at all, thus allowing one to titrate the desired sweetness in a cup of hot cocoa.I also think when baking this cocoa beats all other cocoas I have tried in 20+ years of baking.The packaging matters as sometimes this cocoa is repackaged and I never want someone to repackage my food for me, so I only buy the packages that are the sizes Valrhona sells. This one is a vacuum sealed foil pack that keeps the cocoa fresh literally for years.Recommend without one single hesitation. It is the best cocoa and at a great price!
