Hard Drive Arrived On Time. Very Easy Installation. Hard Drive Runs Quiet. Others In The Past Have Been Noisy While Running. So Far So Good..!

Works well for storing data. Cheaper and less time consuming than burning data to blu-ray.

Keeping it simple..ProsFantastic price $42 for a 3tb drive( I see it's gone to 38 currently) I may purchase a few more, but in the 8tb flavor. The western digital my book duo is limited to 3tb. My synologys units DS218j dual core, and a recent DS220j same unit memory wise, but a quad core. But I degress.The customer service is by GoHardDrive was top notch. I had a problem with these drives. The were not warm but very warm. ( hot to the touch ) windows 10 didnt see the drives that were connected to my AMD motherboard. I tried 4 or the 6 data ports.This company sent me the return shipping label, the drives were dropped of at a UPS store where They would pack and ship the drives.

Warranty response did not acknowledge the inferior quality of the product sold as being junk again and again. You buy their junk item and it gets replaced only one time.....with another identical junk item that they will not warranty as if it was sold to you the first time. AVOID this seller!UPDATE: After a lot of back and forth with the seller, they agreed to send me a replacement, AGAIN. They stated: NO WARRANTY THIS TIME and we will check it out before it leaves out facility to make sure it's operational. Guess what? It arrived in a few days, securely packaged, no exterior damage visible, box intact,etc., but IT DID NOT WORK EITHER!!!

I was able to upgrade my six years old security camera system from 1 GB to 3 GB in 10 minutes. My security camera system is now recording again after formatting the new hard drive. It all took less than 10 minutes and it was my first time. So far everything works perfectly. If something goes wrong then I will update my review.

Were easy to install in my Reolink NVR. So far no issues.

In fact this HDD holds so much stuff I've managed to retain footage from 5 cameras for about 15 months now before getting full. Thats kinda insane.
