Our kayaking buddy whats to go for kayaking BBQ this season, I am the one who responsible to look for a grill that can fit inside of the hatch! I am glad to find this portable one. it is so small that we can fit into the smallest hatch in any of our kayaks. We find this grill is very staple, all meats fill on the top with all 3 section legs expended still very stable to work on cooking. but we ended up only set it to middle height for cooking. I am not so sure with the highest setting will support cast iron cookware, but for any lightweight cookware will be sure no problem.I have use some of the inexpensive backpacking bbq grid, they are easy to blended in open frame cooking, this one has no problem at all with the heat!The stainless steel is very high quality, the cleaning is very easy, everything came off easily, no rust and no blending.We are get one more to help us cook faster for a large group of 12 kayakers

I've had this for a few years and used it more often than I expected to. I generally use it instead of the built in fire pit grills. Fits well over a bed of coals for high heat grilling. Leg height adjustments are useful. It is sturdy and stable. I bought it feeling a little sheepish about how much I would actually use it. So coming back a few years later to give it the praise it deserves.One final good feature is it cools off pretty quickly.FYI I usually just fold it up dirty into a plastic bag on the return trip and then clean it in the dishwasher. That works well.

Used it for 2 weeks of camping, so versatile. Used it by itself inside the provided pit, don’t want the nasty remains of someone else’s food, used it as a top for the Picogrill expanding the cooking surface, with wood, with charcoal. Very well built and easy to clean specially with the provided scraper which fits perfectly. When expanded it fits a load of food, we were able to fit a dozen ribs at once, tight fit for that amount but it worked. My only thing is that I wish the bag was a tad bigger but this is not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend it.

Used this grill on a week-long canoe trip. I liked the fact it's height is adjustable so I could put a small micro-stove underneath for cooking. I could then shorten it to set it over coals for cooking directly over a campfire. it's a little unstable when fully extended - it wants to wiggle back and forth. I accidentally kicked it over at one point, and the legs bent. I was able to bend everything back pretty well.Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and it's advantages. I just need to be more careful not to step on my things...

We have a small place, and I was looking for a compact grill for camping and everyday use in an oven. One of the primary requirements is something that doesn’t take up too much room, and Bitty Big Q fits the bill.The grill is solid. I like how every thing clicks into place. The legs can be unfolded to three different heights, great for setting it in a roasting pan or over a camp fire. I had great results doing a test run roasting a chicken. Cleaning was easy, too, just put it inside a dishwasher and the rack was ready to go again.All in all a great quality product, and I plan to buy another one as a gift for someone who goes hunting in the woods regularly.

grill works great and is a chameleon! Usable in many different situations; Completely opened, you have a great self standing grill to cook on, or you can fold the legs shorter to get closer to the heat, or you can fold the legs completely flat and put the grill on top of rocks; you can use the grill as a narrow grill to use with a small fire. Quite adaptable. Just a little heavy for backpacking.
