UPDATE BELOW...........After reading other reviewers reports and reviewing the sizing chart, I purchased the xl. I usually wear a 14/16 or 0x/1x. I am 5'7". They fit comfortably snug. If you're a loosey goosey undie wearer, I would size up. I went out on a limb and ordered the black, the gray and the beige (or nude - it is a very yellowish beige). It was risky for sure. They are mostly cotton with a little spandex for comfort. They washed and dried nicely. They are interestingly sewn, where some thought was truly given in construction. There is a 1/2" elastic waist - which is zig-zag sewn to keep it in place. The crotch is a wide, but possibly a little short. They are high waisted, over my belly button and fit snugly - maybe a slight bit of flattening, but they are not meant to be girdle undies. The older I've gotten the more I am into comfort and the so called "granny panties." Whatever works. The black is a deep, true black - the gray is heathered and the beige/nude is a little yellowy or buttery to me - just a little. Overall, I like these undies. I included some pics of the gray pair because it seemed to be easy to see the stitching, etc... Having said all that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful! UPDATE: 11/30/2020.... Ok.. after wearing these for a while I am back to purchase more. I wear the gray the most so that is what I buy. I am not very fond of the neutral/nude/beige color.... it's yellowish to me. So I am sticking with mostly gray and black - but that is personal choice. They have washed and dried beautifully multiple times. Snug, but comfortable. Holds your tummy in just a little. Stay up. Honestly, these are some of the best cotton undies I've purchased in a while! UPDATE: 12/4/2020... purchased a few more. These are really good so far. Hope they last as well as they fit!

Technically, I usually wear a medium, but often times medium underwear is a little skimpy so I got a large. These are made so well and are so very comfortable. I ordered them again. They aren’t control underwear but they fit the body extremely well. I am 5 foot three so the waistband does come up a little high but still in I think these are my go to underwear from now on And I am very picky. I am in my 70s and although I usually wear high cut underwear I no longer wish to have bikini underwear. These are not majorly looking. The colors are great and the fit is terrific again I am 5 foot three and weigh 135 pounds. Great value for the money and excellent quality haven’t watched them yet but I always wash my underwear and cold, delicate, and hang to dry order these twice, and the quality of both packages were amazing.

I just rec’d my 4th pack of these panties from over a few year’s time now. It’s the first pack of the pastels, the others were black, grey, and one white. I also have a navy, dark purple and tan. I love these undies! They are 95% cotton which I love, but the little bit of stretch with the Spandex makes all the difference. When younger ( now 73), I did like most younger women did and wore my share of bikinis and a thong or 2. However, I had to wear initially white uniforms and as the years went on I wore tons of different scrubs. I did not like the fit and feel of those bikinis under scrubs so I wore the briefs that were somewhat higher. As I got even older, I decided to ditch those bikinis about 15 years ago. Several years ago I was curious about these so I bought a pack and it turns out I love them. So these are all I buy now. The waist band is very wide and does not ever roll down. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage when washed and they come out of the dryer beautifully. I really like how comfortable they are, and they look smooth under your clothes. They seem to hold up forever without issues. I sure hope that I’ll be able to keep ordering them. They are made in China yet I still like them. I don’t have to go store to store to find something similar, I know just where to find them.

I'm a huge fan of granny panties, and love high waisted, full coverage underwear. That being said, the waist on these is so high (like above my bellybutton high) that it shows above the waistband of my high waisted pants. The underwear themselves are incredibly comfortable, don't ride up and are made from a thick, soft material. I started wearing these to bed or around the house, but don't wear them out and about because they show above my pants, and sometimes roll down a little, causing a weird bulge around my waist. They don't roll down like this when I'm wearing stretchy waisted pants. If the waist was slightly lower I would give these five stars. They're great quality, comfortable and wash and dry well.
