Dechra TrizCHLOR 4 Shampoo for Dogs, Cats & Horses (8oz)

I have an honest, old country vet who always tells the truth about veterinary issues. He said that besides the overuse of antibiotics in vet (and human) medicine, which is creating a dangerous resistance - bacterial infections of the skin are mostly a "topical" or surface issue. Antibiotics have to travel through a dogs entire body (killing off the good gut bacteria that is necessary for a healthy immune system) - and then make it all the way to the very surface layers of a dog's skin, to reach the bacteria. The vet said (common sense prevails here) that treating most skin infections from the "top down" to reach the bacteria is most effective. I gently massaged this shampoo into my dogs skin, left it on for 20 mins, & the bacteria/ crusty bumps were nearly gone. I am going to use this once a week to control the infection. This shampoo works & it feels smooth, not harsh, & the smell is light/ pleasant.

When this happens in the early spring it starts inside the back leg and continues to turn the dogs pink light skin purple / red . One bath cleared my hog up . It is instant and so effective at killing the fungus I watched her turn normal in less then a minute . I did a second lather because I could see she was relieved in the first . Buy it and keep it on hand . NOTE THE FUNGUS IS ON GRASS AND SPREADS TO YOUR DOG AND HER MATES . We humans don’t seem to be effected . ADVICE BUY (SOUTH PARK BLUEBERRY FACIAL IT CURRS DOG DANDRUFF AND DRY SKIN IN A SINGLE LATHER . Do a second wash . The smell is amazing and will last days .

It really worked for my 4 legged daughter. She was experiencing bumps under the skin over areas of her body. Lot's of itching. I took her to the vet and he was prescribing expensive medication. I researched and came across some information that mentioned shampoo that would help. I found this on Amazon and made the purchase and it's FABLOUS!! We have a winner that has cleared her skin up and no more itching. works great. Her fur is so soft and smooth plus she smells clean. I hope this helps for those that are wondering about this product. I've purchased this twice.

My dog had chin acne because of a reaction he got from a combination of things like cow ears, him eating ants, and his hormones. Ugh. Yeah this does the job it takes awhile but it's a good topical ointment.

Great product, the first time I've ever owned a pet with allergies resulting in flare-ups and this really helped soothe her skin. It also helped decrease her itchiness and smelled very pleasant for a medicinal shampoo. Overall I highly recommend it.

This shampoo is a GAME CHANGER! Our little 8 year old Yorkie was getting some patches / dandruff spots on his skin. He would scratch himself until he bled. I tried all other types of shampoos to get rid of it, some quite expensive ones I might add. I just wanted to relieve him of the (what I could imagine) uncomfortable skin irritations. After only three uses of this shampoo (used every 3 days at first) ALL of the patchiness were gone! No more itching and scratching, and no more flaky skin! Now I use it once a week and all the scanlines has stayed away, his coat has never been shinier and so healthy looking! I will NEVER use another type of shampoo again!

My vet suggested I use this product 2 times/week to curb the yeast infection that was occurring on my dogs paws and in between his toes. They were always red / itchy and he was always licking his paws a lot. But after using this product for over 2 months now, it does work to keep the yeast from building up which in turn stops the itching. You have to be committed to doing it for it to work. I just soak his paws in it for no less than 10 mins, then rinse and now his paws look so much better. Who knows what they walk in outside and pick up environmentally, so I plan one using this product as long as it continues to work.

Bathed my dog 2x a week and after the first week I already saw a difference with his skin! Lots of scabs and flaky skin before using this product. I'm at the third week and Im bathing him 1x a week. Great product!
