Suckered punch
Wow. This stuff really works. I trimmed my suckers and sprayed with this stuff and you can see where I actually sprayed and where I missed. I was a little annoyed when spraying that there was not a mist option on the spray nozzle, it was more of a stream which made it hard to cover the area but I'm guessing that is because you need to hit it with more than just a mist to get the job done. One more spray and I'll get the job done.Highly recommend!

Great product, terrible spray bottle
I have an olive tree that regularly produces massive amounts of sprouts / suckers at its base. I normally have to go out there and manually pull them off before they get to big and tough to remove. I've had success with Bonide's stump and vine killer so I thought I'd try Sucker Punch for this.I had ordered the spray bottle version instead of the standard bottle since I had a huge number of suckers coming up. But when I tried to spray the suckers, I thought that my bottle sprayer was defective since only a skinny stream came out (like from a squirt gun). Even though the bottle showed a stream plus a wide spray setting, neither one did anything but the skinny stream, wasting a LOT of product not hitting suckers.I phoned Bonide and they said there was no way to spray since the product was so thick. The support agent said there were other complaints but product development team insisted on the spray head. DO NOT ORDER with the spray head, just get the regular bottle. This stuff DOES WORD GREAT when applied to individual suckers. I used a small paint brush and the results were excellent. I also had an ash tree that insisted on sprouting wherever it was pruned. Just one application of this stuff stopped that growth immediately. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (just don't get the sprayer).

Doesn’t work
There is no difference between the spray and stream on the nozzle. The liquid comes out in a stream and it looks like Elmer’s glue. It’s very thick. If you have large areas to cover, forget it.

This stuff works great
Easy to use, I believe a person is best off by treating at fist sign of new sucker's, this stuff will work on anything I have treated but it takes a little longer.

Pricey - but this stuff really does work.
Treated aspen shoots in my grass, push grass back around the sucker, cut it off so end is just above the ground, spray the end and it will not come back. I find the spray bottle works best, but once it gets down to about 1/4 full its hard to angle the bottle to spray. I use a smaller bottle to spray then refill it with a larger one. I had no problems with the product being too thick, but I always applied in the summer when it was 80 degrees plus.

frustrating
It does work if you apply it at the right time. Applying it is time consuming and frustrating. If you try to use the sprayer, you will waste a lot; and keep wasting it while you try to adjust the sprayer. It comes out in a thick, unpredictable stream and not a spray, so you will miss your target. Thought it is pretty effective, its not 100% either. The cost also seems a bit ridiculous. Between that and the time that it takes to brush the formula on all the suckers, I wondered if it would just be quicker to cut them off as usual. If someone comes up with a less expensive formula I would use it despite the problems. But until then, I do not really feel like it was worth it.
