Buy it one size bigger than your size
This bathing suit is made well and despite it conservative style is flattering. But it runs small. I bought my size and felt I was being suffocated by it. Having said that, I have a long torso. So much so, I usually can't buy one piece anything. That's not the case with this, the length fit me perfectly. which may be to say, if you have a short torso this suit might be to long for you. bottom line: well made, flattering (Maybe because it was soooo dang tight I looked skinny,) perfect for sports (keeps it all in,), RUNS SMALL, well priced for sure!, and well that's enough , buy it ... one or two sizes larger than you size.

Performance suit
This was super small. I bought for a 12 y.o. joining swim team and needed suits to practice in. They’re about 5’ maybe 125-ish. Thicker from waist down. She’s typically a women’s medium and the size chart puts her around small to medium but I read the comments and got a large. It barely fits but it fits. I read through the difference between performance suits vs the leisurely one so I get how it’s supposed to fit. There’s barely any stretch compared to a normal suit. It truly is compression and flattens you out. I was afraid it might hurt at the straps or legs but no complaints after two hours in it. Will see as time passes how it holds up. Will likely get a size bigger for an additional suit. Read the product description to research before buying. My kid is joining a competitive swim team and it’s what she needed for training. This isn’t a leisure suit and doesn’t have breast pads or any of the access that will slow down a competitive swimmer. This may not be what you’re looking for but if it is, size up like a lot. Sizing up twice for us was barely fitting. Will update as use increases. After one use, one wash, and no dryer, color seems intact. She’s a bit modest but seemed comfortable in its coverage. Will also add that I only purchased because of the reasonable sale price of 20 bucks. I likely would have chosen something different at a higher price point.

Great swimsuit!
Seems to be good quality so far and fits well. It’s fairly stretchy and seems very small when it first comes out of the package but still fits nicely. It covers a good amount and is fairly flattering. The logo isn’t staying in super well but other than that it is a good product.

Buy 2 sizes up
It does runs small and tight. I’m 5’6 in height 112 lbs relatively thin, I got a size 6/32 and ITS TIGHT. I can wear it for sure, but I could have fit better in a size up. But I love quality and color and fit etc.

Yes, it runs small, even considering proper fit for swimmers
As other reviewers said, it runs small. I swim 3x a week for 1 hr at a time, so I prefer to buy a tight suit because as other reviewers said suits will stretch with regular use. I'm 5'3", 100 lbs, long torso, and the most comfortable size out of the package on me is a 34. But after a few months my 34 suits are all loose, forming those unsightly air bubbles when I swim, and draping like droopy coffee filters once I am out of the water (not to mention that the fabric begins to look sheer with the stretching). My 32 suits from a variety of brands will feel tight at first (even sometimes chafing and requiring Vaseline), but then after a month or so they feel perfect. So I went with a 32 on this one. On the plus side, no chafing at all. But it is really really tight on the shoulders to the point of being painful and making my muscles sore, and also pulls in the bikini line. As others pointed out this seems to have been cut for people with a short torso. I've worn my suit for several weeks and the discomfort has diminished, i.e. the suit has already stretched as expected and it feels a lot better. But because of the cut I am not sure the discomfort will completely go away. I know this means this suit will last longer, but every time I am in the pool I wish I had gone with a 34... On the upside, this is an extremely good value for the fabric quality (fully lined and looks very resistant)--unbelievable price (probably because the sizing is so odd). I washed it before wearing (cold, gentle cycle in the machine with detergent, line dry) and I wash it this way once a month. They tell you never to use fabric detergent, but I believe that just rinsing in water doesn't fully remove chlorine etc. Also washing it this way stretches it out a bit, which helps with the fit! :)

Price, quality, fit
Terrific fit! Very pleased to get a Speedo for USD 22.55 (CAD 31.28). I usually pay ~CAD 100. Comments said very small fitting so I ordered a red 34 (usually wear 30 or 32). I want butt cover since I’m old otherwise 32 would have been fine. I just ordered the blue and black because of the fit and price on Amazon Resale. 5’3”, 32DD, 34.5-27-34.5 and longer waisted. The red is a true red and pretty.

Runs small! You may pick 1 size up to what Amazon recommends you, and you will be great in it!
Great swimsuit so far! BEWARE: run small. Tight, great for laps, confusing among lifeguards :) If you would like your body to be covered 'down there', it is not for you: get something like shorts-like. It looks professional. Dries fast and is very comfortable. It is not for you if you like something that goes on your body fast: get a zipper one, but it would not be for a 3-hour swimming workout in the pool. This swimsuit is affordable and must be tight on you, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Small in torso length
Would be a very nice suit but isn’t long enough in Torso. Comments said ran small. I got a size 36 in a tech suit at the same time as this, and this was tighter than the tech suit

I bought this during Prime days and thought I was getting an awesome deal of $65.88, only to find the price tag on the suit as $52.00. When I received the suit, the box it came in was beat up a bit but it came in a soft envelope so that may have happened during shipping. The suit is of an excellent quality and is fully lined. I’m 5’11, 165 lbs so getting a suit with the torso length to fit me is hard. I squeezed myself into it but it was too tight with the straps digging into my shoulders. I am returning it. I was going to reorder it in size 40 but the price is over $100. I deducted a star because the seller is more than doubling the $52 price tag found on the suit.

I have worn one piece Speedo’s for years and thought I could buy one online in size 12. One size up from my usual. This new one fit (or didn’t fit) like it was a size 8…..way, way, way too small. Will need to return it.
