Top Quality Hoodie at a Great Price
Just to make things clear I just got this hoodie in the mail, so I can't really talk about it's durability or how much it shrinks after drying. The quality is top notch! It's thick, the cuffs and waistline are snug and comfy, the hood fits well, and the fleece lining that's made out of recycled plastic bottles is soft and super warm. I'm 6 ft, weigh 220 lbs, and normally wear a XXL shirt, so that's the size I ordered.. At first I was a little concerned because a lot of people in reviews had said that it fits very large, but then I came across a few where people said it fit small. Now that I've tried it on it fits perfectly, so I can say that it fits as you'd expect it to. When I wash it I'll hang dry it and maybe throw it in the dryer on low for a few minutes because it could shrink a tiny bit, but overall I really like how it fits. I used to work for Santa Cruz Skateboards and their hoodies would sell for $50 in stores, mainly because of the name, but the quality was nowhere near what this Champion is. I'm thinking about getting a big iron on patch to put on the back to give it some character. I paid $27 and it was well worth the price. I might even buy another.Update: I washed the hoodie, let it hang dry until it was barely damp, and then put it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes. It might have shrunk a tiny bit, but I stretched the arms out and it fits just about the same as before. My only minor complaint is that the zipper is a little hard to get started, but it's not that big of a deal.

the best review of this hoodie on the internet
this is an average hoodie. a no frills, no thrills, no special effects kind of hoodie. if you want a hoodie with style, character, flair, and an interestingly cut shape, by any means, find another hoodie...this hoodie = very smooth fleece on your skin that makes you go "aww... mmhmmm....", a very "appropriately" designed body shape in general (saying it's square-shaped would be over the top), strong-stitching all around, "confident" cuff elasticity but not "arrogantly" tight or "wussy" loose, what seems to be 50% grey contrasting zipper (as well as the hood's strings and inside of hood), a hood that is not "gangster" big nor "skater" tiny but "just right", and the little bit of "oh yeah i forget, i helped the environment" will pop into your mind.i wanted a basic hoodie, and that's what i got. if i were to be picky, i would desire the hood to be shaped differently somehow as it is a tad small, and slightly "bells" out wide when i try to get a more "low key" look. i don't really care though. i'd say this is the type of hoodie that "anyone" can wear. it's not "for" any type of person. i could see a sports person wearing it, and i could see a guy in starbucks on a laptop with it. i could see a guy with a gun robbing me with it, and i could see mark zuckerberg wearing it. i could see a 15 year old wearing it, and i could see a 45 year old wearing it. it's one of those "all-around-made-to-appeal-to-anyone" type of hoodies. basically, you put it on, you feel warmer, then you go about your day, all the while, you will be thinking to yourself: "hey, i like wearing this hoodie. i'm sure glad i got this thing, otherwise, i would be colder, and i would not be able to say, 'hey, check out my hoodie guy!'. yep. i sure made the right decision getting this. i think i'm going to go back to amazon and write a long review about this hoodie because i like it so much. yeah. i think i'm gonna do that. i will make sure to be wearing the hoodie of course, as to ensure a quality review for my fellow humans. i sure hope they enjoy my reading my review. okay, now to get started...'this is an average hoodie. a no frills, no thrills, no special effects kind of hoodie. if you want a hoodie with style, character, flair, and an interestingly cut shape, by any means, find another hoodie...this hoodie = very smooth fleece on your skin that makes you go "aww... mmhmmm....", a very "appropriately" designed body shape in general (saying it's square-shaped would be over the top), strong-stitching all around, "confident" cuff elasticity but not "arrogantly" tight or "wussy" loose, what seems to be 50% grey contrasting zipper (as well as the hood's strings and inside of hood), a hood that is not "gangster" big nor "skater" tiny but "just right", and the little bit of "oh yeah i forget, i helped the environment" will pop into your mind.i wanted a basic hoodie, and that's what i got. if i were to be picky, i would desire the hood to be shaped differently somehow as it is a tad small, and slightly "bells" out wide when i try to get a more "low key" look. i don't really care though. i'd say this is the type of hoodie that "anyone" can wear. it's not "for" any type of person. i could see a sports person wearing it, and i could see a guy in starbucks on a laptop with it. i could see a guy with a gun robbing me with it, and i could see mark zuckerberg wearing it. i could see a 15 year old wearing it, and i could see a 45 year old wearing it. it's one of those "all-around-made-to-appeal-to-anyone" type of hoodies.' phew! done with that! now, what shall i do? hmm.. i think i'm gonna go somewhere and rob someone." and then you can feel really good about yourself.

Champion hoodie better than a Gildan hoodie.
In late october i purchased one gildan (Green) heavy blend hoodie, and two champion men's eco fleece full zip hoodies (White & Crimson Red) The Gildan hoodie arrived first so i will start with that one. Heavy blend hoodie? I think not- My tag say's it's made in Honduras, But I can not find what the material blend is... 50-50? I bet not- Bottom line is, My Gildan hoodie is a lightweight hoodie, well made, good metal zipper, and true to the kelly tires green that was shown in the picture. For a medium it looked a little on the small side. After washing it (Get some dye out) it shrank up a little more, (Washed in cold water, left in dryer till damp) I took it out of the dryer early to hang it up and let it air dry. I also put it on damp and tried to stretch the waistband with my hands downward more. Which helped a little when it fully dried. By the way, a medium is always a risk for me because I feel I am a medium built guy- 5-11 165 lbs. 51 yrs old. (Somewhat broad shoulders) They use to make shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts- in a medium that was more to true size. But now days mediums are on the HUGE side. That being said, I was sort of surprised to find the medium Gildan hoodie on the small side, especially from the reviews. But overall an OK hoodie. Now onto the Champion hoodie. My Crimson Red Eco Fleece Full Zip Hoodie, in medium, seemed also a little on the short side. (I should note, both the Gildan & the Champion's arm length were a little (to me) on the long side, but fit normally in the shoulders) It's the length of my medium hoodies I wish were a tad longer. The Champion has a nylon zipper, and so far (after wearing it everyday at work 4 a month) seems to be working out just fine. Some reviewers are saying they are junk and are breaking, but mine is working fine so far. Both my champion hoodies are also made in Honduras, and both have tags that say 80% Cotton - 20% Polyester. That's a good blend to me. Maybe I got lucky because some reviews I read were saying check your tags, and that they were not always the same. My Champion hoodie also seems to be a bit heavier and has more material in and around the hood. Don't get me wrong, by no means am I saying this is a heavyweight hoodie, because it also is not. It's just the Champion seems to be somewhat heavier than the Gildan. If you do buy the champion crimson red hoodie make sure you wash it first (Cold water) because the red will bleed if not. I washed mine only once, and that seemed to work, but the hoodies pockets still give off some very tiny red lint fuzz onto certain things that I carry in the pockets, but no big deal- (Maybe need one more wash) Overall I am happy with my Champion hoodie and would buy again. I would only hope the next one I buy would be the same as these.
