This is the single best golf training aid I've used (and I'm a junkie
This is the single best golf training aid I've used (and I'm a junkie!). Within 2 months my handicap dropped from 8 to 6, and I'd say my score improved by 4-5 shots almost straight away. I always had a pretty good short game, and was decent off the tee, but struggled with consistent iron play, due to a big loop in my swing (inside takeaway, over the top downswing - welcome to amateur golf!). I've mostly used this at home indoors for trying to groove the feeling of an on-plane swing, but have also been able to use it at the driving range after dark to actually hit balls - it's not really visible in daylight. Now I know my swing is on a better plane, I can swing more freely and expect better contact. I've actually been spending less time at the driving range, and more time at home making practice swings with this, and the results have been great.I noticed that it can come loose if you're swinging hard, especially if you hit balls with Plane Sight in the club. Therefore I always wrap a bit of tape around to hold it in place. This might not be for everyone - there were a lot of good things in my swing (release, tempo, balance), but being off plane was causing inconsistent impact conditions. Therefore this specifically tackled the issues I was struggling with, hence the great results. There's no substitute for a good teacher and some quality slow motion video analysis.I also have been reading Kelvin Miyahira on drive/hold and club face stability, and that in combination with this have turned my game around.

Pretty good tool
Great tool to try and get your swing on plane. It's a bit pricy, but as a golfer I know you have wasted more on less. It will help you, but it takes some getting used to. Sometimes have difficulty getting it to stay on the end of the grip sometimes, but besides that...I like it!👍

NO PRODUCT BOX. RETURNED PRODUCT?
Amazed how it was packaged. The laser came in a small black cloth bag, with a draw-string. The bag was in a 5"x7" gray plastic bag in a big box. Everything appears fine, BUT, WHERE IS THE PRODUCT BOX FOR THE LASER? Just a small black draw-string bag, and not inside a labeled box? Are you kidding? Looks like it was a return from someone who did not return it with the box. It also included a small page of crumpled up instructions inside the bag.I tried it briefly on one club. Seems to work well, but I am uneasy not knowing the history.I will update this after my wife tries it. Bought it for her birthday, this Saturday.

Does what it says on the box (in the twilight)
This is a pretty good tool. The first time I used one was with a pro, I ordered one the following week.It gives you a clear view of what you're going on your back-, down-swing and follow through. Not a the top though but you're on plane on your back- and down-swings then I think you can assume you're OK at the top.The great thing about it is that you can see your swing plane when you're swinging and without having to look around.A heads up: you can't see the laser in bright sunlight (presumably it would have to be strong enough to cut your toes off to see it in that much light). It's usable in cloudy conditions but really great at dusk which, in my books, is the only time to use it.What would have been really nice is a jig to rig this up to your putter.

Works great, until it doesn't.
This is a great training aid for muscle memory of the correct swing plane. But the price is stratospheric for a small lazer in a nicely machined piece of aluminum (the build quality is probably unnecessarily bulky) which is where I have a problem. I've purchased 2 of these and use them in the off season. But 2 in 3 years is obscene. They have both died in the off season being stored indoors and protected location. Completely unacceptable infant fatality rate. I'm going to try the $20 model and if it dies after one offseason, I wont be upset but these are outrageously expensive to be useless in 12 months of little use.

I thought that the device was very useful when practicing my swing plane indoors
I thought that the device was very useful when practicing my swing plane indoors. However, after using it for a relatively short period of time it stopped working. I assumed it might be the battery so I ordered some new batteries. Unfortunately, I ultimately realized that the battery wasn't the problem..the device simply crapped out on me. Obviously it wasn't a good purchase for me.

Helped me correct my takeaway and get back on plane
Very simple device got me back on plane. I’m a 9.5 index used to be 5.8. I’ve struggled through a wrist injury that doing all kinds of weird things in swing to compensate for pain. Biggest problem was in back swing taking club back to inside which causes an over the top out to in path = death for golf swing! This device helped me quickly see and feel the correct takeaway. I just practiced with it in my house no need to take this on the course as it’s a tool to help your feel not something you leave on club to take full swings. Only had it a few days hope it holds up!

Use in darkness
The main problem is you can't use it outside in daylight so I have to swing it in my house ( not good, low ceilings). I go outside at night but Im looking at dark grass. Im about to order a big net to hit balls into for my backyard. Then I will work on correcting my swing plane. I play good but I want to correct my swing. It will be a project.
