Does what is needed while traveling
Purchased recently and used in Australia. Power Converter worked great. Was able to handle a flat iron but didn't need to try the blow dryer as one was available locally so can't verify if it works as advertised. Cord length was sufficient but could be longer, but then it would be heavier and take up more space. It did get warm but not hot if you leave it "turned on" for a prolonged time. Can't recall if this is in the description, but to use the USB power, the converter does not need to be turned on. Converter is quiet as no fan used for cooling. It comes with a variety of different plugs so it should work in most any country, but I'd verify you have the correct one before traveling. This converter was worth the price paid as it worked for us on our trip. I will purchase again if the need arises.

Works well.
I traveled to New Zealand and Australia with this converter, and I loved it. I was able to charge my phone and plug in my Revlon hairbrush hairdryer, and a straightener to fix my hair. I know you ladies will love this. It’s well worth the money. I plugged it in by my bedside table to charge my phone and watchat night. In some places, I had a mirrored closet door so I could do my hair bedside and if not, I transferred it to the bathroom outlet to fix my hair. It’s well worth it to avoid the frizzies!

Perfect for Europe
I normally don’t write reviews but I really appreciated those who shared their experiences here. I got this before my trip to Europe, it was absolutely perfect. It worked well in England, France and Spain. Even my Babybliss hair blow dryer worked perfectly with this.

Useful adapter, there are some issues to note
**ProsIf you drop it it doesn't break. If it's carrying a load it has a fan.It will indeed run hair dryers and high power hair straightening accessories on the special outlet.USB charging ports are very handy.**ConsIf you're traveling in Europe you definitely need an extension cord, because there are no hair dryer outlets in bathrooms. The cord on this device is too short, it's made of a stiff plastic, the adapters are fiddly, and it easily slips out of the box while you're using it.While it is correctly labeled, the print is very small.Being short of other outlets, we plugged our laptop adapters into the 200 watt outlets. My Lenovo PC adapter worked fine in the 200w outlets, but my wife's MacBook adapter did not. So I had to go out and buy another basic adapter while on the trip. The USB ports do not offer quick charging.**RecommendationsI think this is worth having, it does what it says and the full size outlets are nice.- Get yourself a regular multi-country adapter, and a decent desktop PC / monitor cord to replace the cord and adapters that came with the unit. You are very likely going to find that you can't get your hair dryer anywhere near a mirror and some hotels, and a 68" cord helps a lot.- Make certain that you're not bringing an electronically-controlled hair accessory with you as the warnings are correct. We had two devices without electronics, but my wife had one hair iron that had a digital display and it stopped working after being plugged in. That's our fault, I'm just giving you a warning.- If you're going to have more than a couple of items to plug in, you're still going to want another multi-country adapter. The ones with all the levers look pretty silly, but they are easy to pack.

Reliable and dependable!
It works! Unlike a converter we purchased a couple of years ago, this converter worked like a charm! On this trip we visited France, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia, and the converter worked well in all cases, including using a hair dryer while other devices charged. The USB-A and USB-C ports were very helpful for all the electronics we brought with us.

Lost my job because of this thing! Where's the quality control at Ceptics?! Beyond upset!
I went to South Korea and needed this converter to charge my laptop so I could attend an online orientation/tech setup for a new job before starting actual training. The orientation was mandatory due to the IT team setting up our computers and going over all the programs we would be using for the job. This was a group orientation/training, and there was no way I could attend any other day. This was the ONLY day the IT team would be available. Needless to say, I am livid! Where's the quality control at Ceptics???!!! I plugged my laptop in upon arriving at the hotel, so I could be ready for orientation the next morning. I woke up to a dead computer. The USB ports charged my phone, but the actual plug did not charge my laptop. I kept trying and trying for a few days, unplugging and plugging my laptop into the converter, trying to figure out why it wasn't charging, especially since it would charge my phone. I eventually got the converter to charge my laptop, but it was hit-and-miss. Sometimes it would charge my laptop, sometimes not. More often than not, my laptop wouldn't charge. From what I could gather, the connection inside the converter was bad. I am VERY upset because this converter ended up costing me a two-week, $10,000 trip to South Korea AND a new job - all because I couldn't attend a mandatory, first-day orientation/tech setup due to being unable to connect to a video conference, and there was no way to go out and buy another converter in time to attend the orientation. I am not happy AT ALL!

Life Saver
Last minute I purchased this for my European Trip. I really wanted to bring my flat iron. I purchased a small travel adapter for my phone, headphones, and watch. I discovered that the travel adapter did not work. I was glad I had this adapter. I was able to plug in and charge all my things and use my flat iron. Was there a slight buzzing/humming noise like others talked about? YES, was it annoying... not really. I could move it around and it would stop buzzing and this ONLY happened when I had my flat iron plugged into it. I NEVER heard a buzzing/humming noise when my phone, headphones, earbuds, or watch were charging. Was it heavy and bulky? YES, but worth it!!! I would definitely bring it with me if I travel out of the States again!
