I love it
I truly like this model. I work on the Ospreys and it's so surprising how close of a resemblance to the real thing it is. I'll admit, it was a bit challenging getting the correct shape of the nacelles or wing portion of the model. But in the end it was well worth the time and effort putting this together.

Very nice kit
This kit was not as hard as I imagined. It's my first Metal Earth kit. Certainly takes patience and you need to be careful. The instructions can be confusing. Look ahead and see what is next. And look at the 360 degree views on the Metal Earth website. The angles were not as hard to achieve as I feared, many of the angles happen naturally as you connect pieces, you don't always need pre-bend pieces. Some of the small parts were tricky to figure out exactly, the instructions could be better for that. You don't want to unbend/rebend things too often, so best to think ahead. I did break one piece, but it did not matter, once other parts were in place, it held just fine. The kit does include a few extra pieces (like the long antenna), but it does not tell you that. I did half the kit with only tweezers to carefully remove pieces from the tree. Then my flush-cut cutters came and that was SO much better. I had read this was one of the more difficult kits. Glad it was within my skills to do it. And it's cheap enough that if I really wanted to display it, I could get another and do it better. But it was enjoyable, glad I got it. Might be nice if the kit was a little bit larger perhaps. But if it were larger, the metal would need to be thicker, making it harder to bend, etc. Used a headset-magnifier and a desktop magnifier as needed. I had anticipated being frustrated and having a bent, twisted mess! No, just a fun model to build!

Plan ahead
This is a very fun project. Like someone has said before, I would buy another to fix my mistakes I learned from the first build. Try and look ahead to see what smaller pieces you can put on before you cover the tabs by bending the larger piece. I’ll definitely do another build.
