Q: Would I be able to use for 1/4 thick Foam boards?

I used them to mount photos on the foam board. I don't think that they would work for holding 1/4 thick items.

Q: Can you use this to mount a magazine in a frame?

I don't think so. I have attached pieces of comic art on very thick paper - 1/16 - 1/8 thick - in a portfolio. Almost any magazine is thicker than that so you will need something bigger and stronger than this product. Now, Lineco does make a bigger corner mount, I think 2-2.5 inches, and that might work.

Q: Are these actually full-view corners? the item in the cart is a different image than the one on the shopping page.

The corner mounts look just like the one pictured on the package. They are clear, larger versions of the old time black photo corners. Peal them off the separator sheet one at a time and secure them one at a time. The larger triangle with the self-stick glue adhears to the backer board and small portion of the triangle fits over the face of the photo. If you have a white border, your photo mat will completely cover the corner mounts. If you print borderless, you can still hide the mount behind the mat if your mat is cut for a standard overlap of about 1/4". I use the clear corners to secure prints on 13 x 19 print paper to a 16 x 20 backer board without a mat. That makes a good presentation as no tape is used.

I think you want the black and orange box. These are stronger mounting corners than the ones in the blue and yellow box.
