Fiskars 174240-1001 Large Circle Squeeze Punch, 1.5 Inch, White

This device works well to cut the circles. I have bought 3 of these. The smaller 1.5 inch one seems to last longer. The XL cut through May be 300 or so circles (copy paper) and I already had to buy a second one - parts of the blade is full and doesn’t cut though xerox paper (just regular thickness) fully and rips the picture/circle. Just wish this is of better quality as u can’t sharpen the blade

Produces very clean cutouts. Very clean. No jaggedness or small imperfections left behind. I have cut quite a few different paper thicknesses and have been extremely pleased with the quality of this punch. I've cut hundreds of punchouts and it's still just as sharp as day one. I'd buy it again.

I teach preschool and as a preschool teacher I tend to have to do lots of prep work to help make kids projects easier. So I do A LOT of cutting. I decided I didn't want to cut many circles for a project and bought these scissors. So glad that I did!!! What would have taken FOREVER with regular scissors was done in less than 5 mins which is great considering the amount of circles that I needed for our project. The squeeze handles made it very easy to just "pop up" with many circles. Awesome for people who are constantly cutting or writing and need a break for their hands😀

The punch broke shortly after purchase. It doesn’t complete the punch cut. The MHS company that provides this hole punch is impossible to contact. You cannot talk to a person. The recording suggests you refer to the bottom of their website for returns and warranties. They do not respond quickly. A 6 to 7 week timeframe for responding is ridiculous. I just want it replaced but I have to jump through their hoops and wait almost 2 months. So disappointed!!!

These really are perfect for punching different sizes of circles. As a teacher, I have traced many circles and cut them out by hand. This really saves me time. They have punches in different sizes (water bottle cap size, milk jug cap size, other sizes) and also with different edges (straight, scalloped). Great invention. Easy to use.

Unlike earlier punches, this punch is built to last. I love the handle and how it works. My hand didn't get tired at all. I had a little trouble lining things up. I just used the punch with the hole facing up so that I could always see the picture. I had to cut some paper away inbetween items on the same page.

I bought these for cutting 1.5" holes into card board (random empty pantry food boxes). The first box I grabbed was a Ritz cracker box and the punch worked fairly well. The next box was a fruit loops box and the punch would not work at all.The cutter is sturdy and metal. I'll bet it could've handled that box like a champ but the handles are cheap plastic and would bend, keeping the cutter from finishing the punch. I would gladly have paid a few more dollars for solid metal handles.I watched the product video and I believe they said works best with up to 65lb card stock. I don't know what weight a Ritz cracker box is but I wouldn't try punching anything heavier than that.

There were a lot of bad reviews and complaints about this product but I still took a chance and ordered it and I am glad I did! It's amazing! The complaints that it doesn't cut clean or won't cut card stock or that it rips the paper in my opinion are ridiculous. I am making mermaid scales and this made the process so much quicker and I wasted much less precious, expensive paper lol I love this cutter and can't wait to order more!
