Banana Republic Icon Peony & Peppercorn Women's Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 Ounces

This scent was a blind buy, and did not disappoint. Lovely feminine soft mix of peony and pink pepper. Heavy glass, beautiful bottle with minimalist appeal. The aroma is clean and stays quite a long while on hair and clothes, less on skin. I was pleasantly surprised as the perfume smells a lot more expensive than it is. The peppery accord is very pretty without being harsh.

I love the smell of this perfume. I've ordered this fragrance a couple of times. And will continue to buy it. I also buy it as gifts to my friends and they all love it as well.

Not what I was expecting, but it is a happy enjoyable scent. On my body chemistry this is more cinnamon spice than sweet vanilla, which is what I hoped for. I have layered it with a Vanilla bean oil to get closer to what I was expecting. It is a pleasantly warm natural spicey bright sun shiny smell. I am imagining fall when I smell it. Not Floral, Oriental, or Sweet. Best of all there are NONE of the chemical smells that trigger blinding migraine headaches, so that alone will have me keeping and happily wearing this scent even though it wasn't what I expected. I suspect it will be a fantastic first time product for my 10 year old, who is beginning to be interested in more grooming and personal hygiene products. I don't think he could go overboard with it to the extent it would cause discomfort in others around him. And not an artificial childish scent that would embarrass him. My 18 year old said this just isn't a scent he is interested in. Not for himself or his girlfriend. But, he certainly didn't dislike it.

The smell of this is so beautiful. It's warm...It's cozy...its unique and not a smell you can "just get anywhere." It's different from about a million other smells I've encountered when it comes to the "perfume" arena, and I'm in love with it. Really, cannot recommend this enough.

May be my favorite scent. It's long-lasting but not offensive. Sweet and yummy.

This does smell very good, but all I get is the slightly sweet tonka bean. The tobacco just isn’t there for me. Also the longevity is minimal at best. Not a particularly unique scent either. Nice for layering or on its own. I do appreciate that the sweetness is not overbearing and i think it’s fairly a unisex scent. I can see myself wearing this any time of the year.

Love this scent. I highly recommend it.
