20 Apsara Beauty Dark School Wooden Pencil Hb Black + 2 Sharpener +2 Erasers Lot

Excellent pencils! Never heard of any pencils produced in India until I saw a Youtube posting. I went ahead and ordered a set of these Apsara Beauty pencils and I'm very satisfied with them. The smoothness and darkness of the lead matches pencils costing ten times what I paid for these. They come with a fantastic long point manual pencil sharpener that is now my favorite of several that I own. It's made of plastic but the blade is very sharp and seems to be holding up very well after a good amount of usage. There is also a very good eraser included in each box of ten pencils. The pencils arrived a lot quicker than stated on the product page and were wrapped very securely with bubble wrap to preclude any damage. Very, very satisfied with this purchase!

I cannot tell you how much I love these pencils. I was strictly a mechanical pencil user until I tried these. Weird but true. The ones in this set come with pencil sharpeners that give you a nice long point and erasers that work perfectly with this lead. The lead it quite dark even though the lead is harder than you would be used to for this level of darkness. I have tried lots of different pencils and so far these are the best by a LARGE margin. Will be buying these pencils again if this set runs out any time soon! I would suggest these to anyone.

Great pencil

I like these pencils but one box was missing the eraser and sharpener. Checked the packaging but nothing. Must’ve fell out when it was being packed?

I purchased these to try out some Indian-made pencils. The Beauty pencils are attractive to look at and hold a point quite well. However, I do find that they're disappointingly light for a "dark" pencil, writing between a HB and B in hardness (unlike the Apsara Platinum which is a B-2B). I'd compare the Beauty to the Nataraj Ruby in darkness, writing only slightly darker than a General's Semi-Hex HB. Considering that the Ruby is less expensive, I can't honestly say that the Apsara Beauty is worth the price when compared to other Indian-made options. That said, the wood does seem to be of better quality than the Ruby and sharpens beautifully without cracking or splitting. The included eraser and sharpener are surprisingly good for "free" products and I will be using them for more than just the Apsara pencils.

though it seems to take forever for these pencils to arrive they are worth waiting for. use them on my wood carvings and they are comfortable and write on the wood nice and dark.

Not one of these pencils would sharpen correctly. This is a horrible product!

Si tienes una hija que te quita tu material de escritorio continuamente y necesitas una buena provisión son ideales :) CONTRAS: Hay que afilarlos un mucho porque el carbón se pierde enseguida. Pencils arrived 9 days early. Just as described: the black wood beauties wrote smooth dark lines and included very effective long point sharpeners and 2 non smudging erasers. Quality at an affordable price. Thank you trees and workers in India.. .
