CAT FOOTWEAR P89586 Second Shift 6" Steel Toe Boot,12,W,PR Review: It took some time to break-in the boots, with some blisters at the heels. But once broken in (about slightly more than a week), these boots are surprisingly comfortable, compared to other steel toed safety boots/shoes I have had. The price is also great. I cannot compare with other "high end" boots, but this is the best pair of safety boots I have had, even when compared among those that are not safety shoes, that costs more. Comfortable, looks good (to me), good construction, great price. Nothing more to ask for. Review: Item was delivered on expected delivery date.Good product ,good quality.

I bought the boots for work, hoping they would be a durable replacement to my cheap Walmart boots. It was a great choice. I'll break down the pros and cons for you. Cons: ~they were a size small when i received them. (I usually wear a size 9, but the top of the boot, right were it splits to form the tongue and laces, was too tight. Problem was easily fixed by returning and buying a size up though.) ~Zero arch support. (Also easily fixed by a cheap pair of insoles, $8-$10) ~The leather turns to a lighter brown when scratched. (Would not recommend these boots for anyone looking to be fashionable.) ~Not Waterproof. (I was hoping they might be even though it wasnt advertised, but they werent. Again, an easy fix by spraying some shoe waterproofing on them, which costs about $6-$10.) Pros: ~Very comfortable. The leather and cushioning is nice when you're moving a lot on the job. ~Steel toe. Awesome to have this extra protection. Dropped a trailer gate on them twice and felt nothing. Would definitely buy again and would recommend to anyone. But make sure to buy a half size, or whole size up.
