This is a very strong and reliable hinge ! This is very important on where you place the hinge on your bike. I transported a second Ebike today which weighs over 35 kg overall for 6 miles drop-off the hinge, didn’t even move from where it was placed, not even once, don’t forget to adjust the second boat to make sure it is secure I also noticed a few people with their reviews about this product. I would like to meet clear they have attached a product in the wrong place. Keep that in mind before you ride

Works well but sometimes find it tricky putting it on

In theory this is fab! I had a lovely new bike which cost a lot of money, the screw on the back wheel was too wide for the original attachment so thought I’d try this. It attaches brilliantly, no problems there at all. I put some tape around the frame just in case. Went for a short ride and fab. Unfortunately, the rubber where it has attached has come away, working it’s way through the tape on the bike and leaving horrible, deep scratches on the frame. And that was without a child added into the trailer.If you have an old bike you don’t really care about this is great but if you prefer to keep your bike looking like it hasn’t had a run in with a brick wall, avoid!!

Good product

This is the answer to the problem of not being able to fit a trailer coupler to a through axel or a skewer. It will clamp to your Chainstay or equivalent. The spring end will fit in to most aftermarket trailers but this is not shown in any advertising. It’s a brilliant product and has solved a problem fitting a trailer to an e bike with complicated axel set up. Cheap but well made.

I'm lucky I'm even here to be writing this.I tightened this thing as tight as i could.After 20 minutes of cycling unbeknownst to me, it had loosened.One wheel of my trailor hit a tiny grass verge no bigger than 6 inches. This should have been safe.The part that connects to the bike suddenly rotated around the part of the bike it was attached to.It jammed into my wheel spokes, completely breaking 2 and bending others.The child's trailor slammed onto its side.This is in the middle of a road, while a car was passing. My bike screetched to a stop dragging the trailor on its side.Luckily my child was not in the trailor at the time.I couldnt get the trailor back upright for a while due to the way the attachment was jammed into the wheel.Nightmare.This part may only cost 20 odd pound. But it breaking my electric bike and leaving me without a transport is going to cost me so much.Update: my bike has now been fixed for £100. The damage this bike trailer hitch you can see in the second photo ive just uploaded. It has really left my frame chewed up.

Good for my electric bikeBut It's a little bit big my leg can reach to it while I ride my bike 🚲But it's very good with my son's trolley and helped me so much to attach the trolley to my bike spicely in the bad weather
