Sizing Issues
I've been buying this brand of thimble for years. They wear out eventually and I use them daily. However, after purchasing the size small and sometimes needing to use tape to make them snugger, they now suddenly don't even go on my finger they are so small.Very disappointed in this and putting this out there as a beware. Just because 1 size fit you before doesn't mean it will again

not small
I like it ok, but it still is not small enough for my finger, so I put a piece of tape on my finger to make it more snug

A Great Thimble
I love the Nimble Thimble. They're made of soft black leather, with a slit at the top for your fingernail, and a hard metal disk embedded in the tip to protect your finger from the needle. The thimble may feel stiff and snug at first, but give it time. As you wear it, the leather will stretch and conform to the shape of your finger, until you hardly notice you're wearing it.It's always a good idea to use a thimble when you hand sew. The eye of the needle may not be sharp, but it can still hurt your finger, especially if you're sewing through thick fabrics. There are many different kinds of thimbles: metal, rubber, elastic, leather, plastic, and even stick-on adhesive patches. You need to experiment with different types and sizes, until you find one that fits comfortably and doesn't bother you while you sew. For me, that's the leather Nimble Thimble, size small. Originally, I used the medium, but the leather stretched and it became too loose. I got tired of it falling off every time I sewed, so I finally bought the small one. I've never found the small size in any fabric store--they only seem to carry medium and large--so I was very glad to find it here.Five stars for a vital sewing tool!

Good needle for me. I have funny shaped fingers
Best thimble for me. They recently messed up the sizes. I used to use medium but now is too big. Small is a little small for my middle finger but does ok

Make sure of fit!
The only problem with this “leather” thimble is that it is made to fit snugly, and the one I ordered was too large. But when they fit, they are the most comfortable thimble out there. With a lot of heavy duty quilting, they do wear out—other harder thimbles for not.

One size doesn't fit all
I really liked the design. The leather is thin but it made it flexible. The problem is that it's too big. I have tiny hands and fingers, so it slips off constantly. I wish you made this thimble in different sizes. I also think the leather needs to be sewn instead of glued. Hopefully, this product will be revamped.

Surprisingly good
Love the way it fits and molds itself to the finger. Very comfortable. It could be a little thicker. But so far it is holding up and I do a lot of hand quilting. Will definitely replace it once it wears out

It is flexible with metal tip to protect finger tip.
I have had this thimble in the past and the quality was much better. Now the leather is thinner and it is harder to keep it on your finger. The metal tip is also smaller. I prefer the older version that was thicker and stayed on your finger and protected it better. It was also less expensive. Still, when compared to other thimbles this one works better for me as my hands are small.
