Works PERFECTLY for my Canon 7D mark II!
Went out on a limb and got this cage for my 7D mark ii, as the dimensions are almost identical to the 5D series. PERFECT FIT! Has access to all ports, battery door, dual card slots, etc. SUPER HAPPY!

Dial is obstructed
The media could not be loaded. This is my experience with the cage on a 5D Mark III. Two big design flaws:1) Covers on the left side (remote control, USB, audio) are impossible to reach and therefore you cannot open.2) The top part of the cage obstructs the dial so is hard to reach and adjust your aperture/shutter speed.Not recommended.

Cannot connect remote trigger cable on a Canon 5DS. Return service OK.
I bought this NICEYRIG Cage for a specific purpose. I wanted to trigger the camera remotely with a Pocket Wizard receiver and trasmitter and have the ability to quickly remove the camera from the tripod. Unfortunately, the remote cables for this camera all have a 90 degree bend on the camera side. Since the NICEYRIG Cage has a thin, rectangular metal frame around the camera ports, the 90 degree bend in the cable blocks the jack from the camera port. You can't push the cable all the way in. I tried searching for for a straight jack but could not find one. I also considered cutting a notch in the frame but felt that it would weaken the structure too much. I ended up returning the cage with no problems from Amazon or the seller.

En la parte mas débil se siente cuando dobla el metal, esto no me gustó! Se siente como si se fuese a romper, pero por ahora anda funcionando!
