My Jeep got new tires not many miles ago and had the factory junk beauty cap lug nuts. I was taking wheel off to do a brake job and of course 1 out of 20 lugs decided to fail and the cap popped off. Now the slightly undersized nut that remained began to round off. I bought this lug removal tool set for $12. Went ahead and purchased a set of quality Dorman chrome lug nuts for $10. The tool worked perfectly. For $12 I just hoped the tool would last long enough for 1 lug. I was impressed! I hit the tool with a sledgehammer and after the lug was removed easy peasy I inspected the tool for damage but it looked perfect. Obviously there is evidence of contact witness marks but that's it. As I type this I'm thinking I'll keep the set in my boat just incase of trailer wheel trouble. Money well spent.

My 2006 Toyota Corolla aluminum wheels and lugs are 18 years old. Some of the lugs are very worn and have become stripped to the point you really can't remove them with a normal lug wrench anymore. I decided to purchase this Lug remover tool and fortunately I did.My lugs nuts are 21mm, but the remover didn't fit correctly, so I hammered on the 22mm extractor, connected my 1/2" drive ratchet, and the stripped lug broke loose. I was thrilled to hear that wonderful sound and replaced it with a new lug nut.Awesome tool and worked like a charm. I sincerely recommend this great tool.

Had a stripped lug nut and needed the 22MM. Make sure you use a HEAVY hammer to get the socket on tight and use slow and steady pressure to turn the nut with a breaker bar. Do not use air or batt driver to loosen the nut you'll make things worse.

These will work as long as you can get the socket over the head of the bolt. But they are pretty soft metal. 3 stars because they will work a few times.

Worked very well on a pre-owned vehicle that I wasn't able to find the lug key. Cut and dry. Actually is was so easy no wonder why more wheels are not stolen. Anyways good product.
