I'm a very happy repeat customer. I feel completely safe using this tissue paper to wrap my delicate silk garments and cherished vintage gowns and purses. The paper doesn't contain damaging chemicals, nor does it tear easily like some tissue paper. Each sheet is a very good size. These sheets are the best sheer toughness to stand up gently-tough for my antique clothing. The size is great; often one or two sheets are plenty to box and ship articles that have been sold, boxed, & shipped.

Very nice well made heavy cotton stated to be 100%. Love unbleached. I assume chemical free, but definately no chemical odor. Would just like a much smaller hanger opening which they say they now do, or sealable flap to cover opening so moths cant get in. Would definately order also longer lengths if they were available on the posting because they do make them.

We all take for granted that storing an object in wood, cardboard, vinyl or plastic is a sure fire way to protect our valuables. The truth of the matter is all those methods can yellow and decay delicate fabrics and other collectables. Even in dry climates objects can dry rot. I certainly am no expert in acid-free paper, but even a fool can discover in a few minutes that un-buffered, acid free and lignin free is the way to go. Un-buffered means no chemical is added to achieve a neutral PH balance. Though lignin is acid free, it gives off acids when the paper decays. Your cheaper, older tissue paper is just a ticking time bomb if it contains lignin. Linen Lady's Acid free paper is thin like other acid free tissue paper, so double or triple the sheets when storing. The paper tears easily, but the bright whiteness stands out making any conservation effort more elegant looking. Colored papers can always stain your items. Whether you are boxing up an item, or hanging a seldom used article of clothing in a bag you need to protect it with acid free paper. Replace your older acid-free paper before it is too late and store your items with desiccants (outside the paper) when possible. My only regret was not seeing the 50 sheet pack before ordering.

Wrap to preserve oil paintings from dust, et al. The sheets are not "sturdy" (therefore three stars) because they are tissue paper albeit acid-free. Careful handling is required.
