Sticky or gummy door handles on BMWs seems to have been an annoying yet somewhat common manufacturing problem, at least for the model year in question, which in every major respect is a dream: excellent driving and handling, 40+ mpg on the highway, stunning design. These covers are the happy solution as they snapped on without any adhesive and the tolerances were perfect.

2020 BMW 430i coupe. Was exactly what I needed for the sticky door handles. Hendrick BMW wanted to charge an arm and leg for the repair but this cheap fix and easy install was just what I needed. Excellent fit and easy to install

The cover is rigid plastic and “clips” to inside of door handle that has become sticky - through wear, age or exposure to some chemical substance. I installed in about 5 minutes (both front doors). Handle cover feels unremarkable when closing door now; and it felt like someone had put used chewing gum on inside of handle before! I checked a replacement door handle price from BMW… it was over $900!!!Very happy with this product! Unless you really look hard you can’t even tell it is not the unadorned factory handle!

I absolutely hated closing the door from inside my 2015 BMW 428i because the door handles were literally melting, sticky, nasty. I’ve been putting off buying replacement handles and then this solution was recommended in one of the Facebook BMW groups. Wish I had done it two years ago! Product slipped on easily and stays put. I actually was afraid that it would pop off really easy when going to close the door, but absolutely the opposite. Without any additional double sided tape and using only compression fitting, item fits perfectly and doesn’t budge. Man, what a difference, I don’t mind getting in or out of my car anymore. Great product

These pieces fit my 2018 430i perfectly. Called dealer and to replace inner door pull was over $400. The rubber inlay deteriorating into a soft gummy tar-like mess is a known BMW problem. I strongly recommend to install these now BEFORE the rubber gets to that point. They fit like a glove, no visible gaps and they fit really snug. Passenger side installs no problem, just find the angle that works best for you to slide in the piece. Driver side takes a little more trial and error to find the right angle due to window control panel. Driver side also requires more force to snap into place, I didn't have a trim tool, but got it to snap in after a few tries. Plastic is not flimsy, a good thing, and provides a permanent fix or prevention measure.

I bought this for my son’s car , I was a bit skeptical when I unpacked the package , the product looked like two pieces of oddly shape plastic , my husband wanted me to return it but I decided to put it on the car handle, boy was I blown away or what , it fit seamlessly on the handle , looked like it was made for that car Looks and feel great . I’m very impressed with the design and easy , effortless installation . My hats off to the person who came up with this simple and very userfrodesign . Thanks
