These bolts are highly magnetic - strong enough to stick to the magnet when held in the air. If they were the grade of stainless steel claimed, they would not exhibit strong magnetic attraction.

I would give a 5 star rating for the nut and bolt stainless steel quality.However, I would only give a three star rating for truth in advertising and size information. Average of 4 stars.The nut head size is accurate and uses a 10mm socket.The bolt head size is smaller than 10mm (5/16) inch so it does not match the 10mm and needs an inch socket to install.The advertisement said it is a metric bolt and it is not!It is very frustrating to need two size wrenches to secure the nut and bolt assembly!

The seller should let people know that these M6-1.0 45mm hex bolts are not like the others on the market. I bought them expecting 10mm hex heads like all of the other M6-1.0 hex bolts I've found from multiple manufacturers. I knew we would need many of these so I placed a test order for a 20 pack because while M6-1.0 x 40mm is easy to find, as is M6-1.0 x 40mm, there are not many sellers offering them in 45mm like these.Our application is very unique and others won't necessarily have an issue, but for us these bolts are useless, and now I have to rush to find another source that has the quantity we need. Had the seller provided the requisite details on the product our time and money would not have been wasted, and the seller would not have gotten the 2 star rating.

I got them to replace my 68RFE pan bolts. These was a little too long for the bolts that didn't go all the way through so I had to order a set of 12mm for those. But these are very nice bolts otherwise.

I bought these screws for use on a patio chair where I wanted to replace the sling and the original screws were damaged. The picture on the website is significantly enlarged and gives the wrong impression with regard to the head of the screw. The head is as thick as the body of the screw. However, its hexagonal shape is very solid and fits snugly on a socket, which makes it easy to tighten and remove the screw with a socket wrench. The quality of the stainless steel is also very good.

I used these to replace transmission pan bolts in a GM 4t65e transmission. These are an 8mm socket size, the factory bolts are 10mm socket size, that doesn't matter to me for this application, with the shoulder these are just fine.

Used them to secure fog lights on a Subaru using M6 GM Body clips. I also replaced some random rusted out bolts on my car... only time will tell if these will rust or not, so for now they are great.

I needed some metric bolts and I ordered these. They are well made, had nice cleanly cut threads and did the job for me.

these are of high quality, well made, threads are well formed and installed in my lathe without issue. great value for this quality.
