These are much more superior than the staples I bought at HD Very sturdy I used them to hold down a chicken wire "fence" to keep my dogs out of an area of the yard These will not be rusting and breaking like the thin ones you get at a big box store. Would definitely buy these again for another project.I had no problem with them bending when pounding into the ground. Went in with ease and no breakage or bending. Well worth the extra money

These landscape staples were exactly what I needed to tack down the artificial grass we laid. The staples were heavy, extra long and went in easily with a hammer. The grass cannot be pulled up by our 2 large dogs. They fasten tightly into the ground. Will urchase again!

I am using these staples to secure chicken wire on the ground so predators can't get to my chickens. I had one start to bend my area is rocky pulled it straighten it pounded it in a different spot. I use a rubber mallet and they go in great. I will however next time get galvanized. I don't need it pretty but would prefer staples not to rust. I've never used lawn staples before so can't compare but sure like this vendors product. I will buy again but most likely upgrade to galvanized.

Bought the Heavy duty staples because I have nasty rocky/ clay soilHeavier gauge than appear in the photo and these cost one tenth compared to what I paid at local store. Don't know if these staples will rust as the finish is more gray galvanized, but my general experience using these staples is that they'll rust but they will hold up for years and not break. Don't use your hands to push these staples in, unless you're blessed with loam type soil, use a hammer and bit of patience.These are great to hold landscape fabric, drip irrigation lines and of course outdoor Christmas decorations, like the pesky flying reindeer.

I am not sure why Amazon wants to know if these are light weight. They are not. They are a nice heavy duty thick landscape staple. So many uses for these things I had not at first anticipated. These have really come in handy and I am very happy with the purchase.

I am using these for keeping cages anchored around small trees and plants (deer proofing the best ones). They are SO much better for this purpose than the flimsy ones I got at the big box store. Although, to be fair, the big box store anchors were to hold down landscaping plastic, not wire cages. :-)

I like this one. It is strong enough to hold the turf that I used to cover the weed on the ground. Had some smaller gage wires that did not work well. This one is enough to do the job with the good price paid.

I have both the standard and heavy duty versions. Both are great. Excellent quality. The heavy duty are much stronger - I use them in places that I want them to last for a long time.
