Does what it's designed for. Holds keys. Easy to remove and reinsert keys. Works fine on my duty belt. Have and would buy again.

I don't usually bother to rate items, but this one deserves it. I am very impressed with the design, even little details like curved corners of the belt side make the functionality a breeze. It is sturdy, aesthetic and an incredible price. It has changed my life a little bit. Highly recommend for anyone who carries keys (or many other things!) and does not have a good place to put them.

I was looking for something I could use to attach my keys to my belt, but I also wanted to be able to have access to them very quickly. I used to use a carabiner, but I didn't want something so heavy and clunky this time around. After that, I was using a quick release 'seat belt buckle' key chain thing, which I really liked, but trying to find one without some obnoxious printing on it is next to impossible. Then I saw this. The design closely resembles the way I used to bend my knife's pocket clip to achieve the same result. It's simple and functional. It attaches to my belt, and with a small amount of force, my keys just pop on and off of the thing in half a second. The steel is pretty tough, and I'd be surprised if I somehow bent it. I originally wasn't planning on using the supplied key ring, but when I realized how much higher quality it is than my old one, I switched my keys over. The only concern I have is the finish eventually scratching off. This is to be expected with any painted item, but it's holding up pretty well so far. It shows a few signs of wear, but the wear hasn't made it through the coating yet. I just wish they had an option with a plain zinc coating so I wouldn't have to worry about the finish.

I work in corrections and was just using a carabiner for my keys. Having to get into doors about 5 times in 5 minutes, I quickly grew tired of having to set stuff down to get into places as I needed two hands to get them off my duty belt. My colleagues have something similar to this one but it still takes a thumb motion along with lifting to get them off of their belts. I took a chance and ordered this one as it was cheaper for me at the time. This one has paid off way more then anyone else’s at the facility I work at. Everyone is very jealous I can just lift my keys up with one hand and put them back on. I was also worried about how the weight of the keys might effect this since it was cheaper. It’s made of some pretty tough stuff. Depending on where I’m posted in the facility, I have keys heavier then the set in the video and it has no signs of bending or not performing. 100% gold I went with this purchase instead of the other brand. I’m quickly converting my colleagues into switching to this one.

This little guy did the trick for me just perfectly. I work security and carry several keys daily. Carrying them in pockets can be tricky and uncomfortable not to mention a pain when you need to access them quickly. With this key keeper you can slip your rings into and out of the slot in just a few seconds. It is worth noting however that for those who want something easily added to and removed from a duty belt this item may not be for you. It fits so snugly on my belt i actual put it in place of one of my belt keepers as it is actually very good at holding its position. *Update* 12/21/2021 My statements hold true. I am still using the same one i purchased for my original review and it is STILL holding strong. I have beat the everloving tar out of this thing with daily use on my duty belt for almost 3 full years now and other some paint wear it functions like the day i got it. I can't carry keys any other way now.

I love this thing, I use it on my duty belt every day and I can attach most keys I work with onto them. I use this on a lead devil usa belt and it fits fine on the 1.75in belts. It's fairly loose up and down but held in between the belt velcro I've not had any issues, it stays right where I need it on the Y axis and I can store my keys and grab them. I will continue to use this until something better comes out, but it's really hard to beat.

I bought this to keep my key on for my patrol car while on duty. It was great for a few weeks. Until I had to do some real police work….A car drove off an embankment into the ocean, so I ran down to check on the occupants….somehow the key yeeted itself off this thing during that process. Really wanted to like this.
