Relief at last...
OK Background: I have a fused spine and bad hips. One leg I cant lift to shave below the knee past the 1/2 way down spot and getting the backside of that leg is near impossible. I saw someone elses reviews: katv's, Gracelyn's and others. And desperate I bought two on those reviews alone. Now I didn't purchase it for the cosmetic side even as a woman, I could care less if my legs are hairy infact I only shave below the knees. I did it because the nerves down there are really sensitive now, maybe something happened in the surgeries I don't know. But when they get beyond stubble the sensitivity increases til it feels like the nerves pinch and hurt and ache all the time. Its like constant nails on a chalkboard in my legs and the only relief is to shave them which if I was to take a guess numbs them. But with the one bad leg Id have to become a contortionist as I try to use an electric razor while laying on the bed while attempting to bend and twist my body and the uncooperative leg on top of trying to get it all off but usually failing as Id miss whole sections. It got to the point that I duct-taped an electric shaver to a broken broom handle trying to find relief. But it was awkward, a bit heavy and slid to the sides often with each stroke. Plus I couldn't get the shaver to stay at a 90degree angle either. So in desperation I ordered this and it has worked wonders. Its light, the blade isn't particularly wide which is perfect for me and what I need it for, the handle locks into place and above all it allows me the range to get the lower half of my leg shaved. If you have mobility-flexibility issues I highly recommend this razor I have the second one for travel-emergency evac. situations and the other I keep in the shower. Its definitely been a nerve-pain saver.

It Works, But...
The product works better than other such razors I have tried. As with many of these types of razors, you can't get adequate pressure against your skin to actually get get a close shave particularly when back shaving. I often have to go over the same area from other angles or use a regular razor to go over areas I can reach by hand. That said, what is good about this item, is that the blade won't move or twist like other makers where they have a holder to keep your regular razor handle in place. I have never found one that works without tearing the crap out of your skin. Here, the blade attaches to a molded holder that keeps it in place.I wish the manufacturer would update this holder to accommodate a better blade, like Harry's, for example. Eventually you might not be able to find the Gillette blade except online, or use the cheap after market knock off blades that really aren't as good a product.

Works surprisingly well!
Works surprisingly well. Got this post hip replacement surgery to shave my legs. Took me a few weeks to try it until I just couldn’t stand seeing my womanly legs look as hairy as most men’s. Found it was easier to shave my leg that wasn’t operated on since I can perch that foot up on the side of the tub while shaving. However, my operated leg needs to stay straight. Therefore, I had to go slower and be more deliberate when shaving that leg. Took longer on that leg. No nicks on either. Now, that the weather warming up so can wear my skirts and dresses. Glad I gave this one a shot after reading lots of reviews for this as well as others.

Does a decent job
I bought this because i had a hip replacement and can’t bend to reach my leg or put my foot up on the shower chair. It does a decent job but it’s hard to get a good shave. You still have to bend over a bit so it’s not great on the back. It’s better than not shaving my legs at all so I’m glad I have it and would recommend it.

PRODUCT OF THE DECADE IN MY BOOK
I have disabilities that have developed in last few years but that doesn't make me any less a woman that wants to shave her kegs & remain sexy to the touch. Tried using electric shaver but couldn't reach near ankles & left stubble. This is a God Send. I wrote the company after purchasing to find out if this razor had to use certain brand of blades & this company not only wrote back but phoned also ( as I gave them my number). Can use any brand blades. I absolutely LOVE THIS PRODUCT & tell everyone about it. I intend to buy a couple more to keep @ lake house etc. hoping this company never goes out of business. I used to be employed with an NFL team & I have many of the players using this now Got son one & he uses to shave his back as his wife likes the shaved look. This is just a phenomenal product & I can't say enough good about it & how amazing the company CEO was when he called & wrote. BTW VERY STURDY PRODUCT won't fold up on you, has locking device that prevents that from happening.

I wish this had worked
It is a great concept; however, the razor folds in half while using it. I had my hip replaced and can't reach the bottom of my leg. Sent it back . Completely frustated me.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT!!!!
This product is amazing. Three years ago, I suffered a horrible back injury that has left me unable to easily shave my legs - I was a bit skeptical in purchasing this product, but I was at wit's end as not being able to shave for a woman can be very frustrating. The ergonomic properties of this razor allows me to reach in every nook, especially the front and back of my knees. And the razor blades give me the smoothest shave - I'm so pleased. The only disappointment I have is I wasn't able to know about and purchase this razor the second I suffered my injury!!! Thanks again for this terrific product.

Dangerous rusty blades = Tetanus
Not sure what type of metal is in these cheap razor blades but they started rusting after 1 week of use. Rusty blades and the tiniest of razor cuts can cause Tetanus. Hope everyone that uses this product has their Tetanus vaccine. This product should not be allowed for sale on Amazon. This should be a huge health concern to Amazon.
