I live in an area that has "hard" water that typically stains anything it comes into contact with a burnt orange color over time (including my hair). I purchased this conditioner / shampoo set to try and offset the discoloration I was getting after each shower, and wow was I impressed! Highly effective product that works well with my dark blonde hair. Not only did they keep my hair looking hydrated, but over time (it took several weeks to see a noticeable difference) my hair became lighter and more vibrant in color. Definitely a great value, and I'll be purchasing again when needed.

Do you have gray or silver hair? Do you want it to stay shiny and vibrant with no yellowing? If so, you need these products. My hairdresser recommended that I use a purple shampoo and conditioner maybe once a week to keep my natural silver hair from getting brassy or yellowish. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a nice product. This one is readily available here and in stores. It really is purple, so don’t be surprised when you lather up and when you condition. It doesn’t stain the shower or anything but it might seem weird at first. Your hair won’t be purple, but just a more vibrant silver. My hairdresser did say not to use it every day, because it would actually get a purplish look! Pleasant, non-overly scented and leaves your hair soft and shiny.

I'm new to dyeing my hair, but if you think your hair is too yellow, this shampoo can help tone down that color and the best part is that it comes with conditioner.
