I’m naturally a level 7 blonde and get my hair highlighted twice a year. I like to use my regular shampoo first and then follow up with this one to get the best results. I love this shampoo & conditioner because it has the purple right in the product. I need to keep my gray from getting brassy. The conditioner works very well with detangle of hair so brushes out nicely. It is nice to use alone or add to your any favorite hair cleaner for the purple. I have purchased just the 'purple' products to add to any shampoo or conditioner- but that can be a bit messy at times. This makes it eadiercto use & to transport if traveling. Make sure to wipe any excess off bathtub or towels, purple can tend to stain if left on too long in a spot.

Perfect for my fine white hair! Soft, shiny, smooth and my hair is so healthy. I’m 68 and I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner especially for older women like me who want to look great our age.

My hair is quite absorbent, so this didn't work for me. I was hoping to get the greenish tinge out of my white hair. My white looks great for a couple of inches, but the longer strands have a greenish tinge because our water supply is chlorinated. This just gave me a purple tinge on the first couple of inches; didn't touch the green on the rest. It was not an attractive look. I will say that it did give kind of an allover shiny look that I liked, on both the white and the brown hair I have left. Not enough of an upside to keep using it though.
