Works Well
Hooked up and setup quickly with no issues. Unlike other reviewers mentioned, this one worked with the standard HC06 commands. I guess it varies from batch to batch. Look at the other reviews in case the AT commands do not work for you.I recommend this one over the cheaper ones you can by on the popular auction site. I got another one from there and it wouldn't even accept AT commands and it was already pre-set to a different rate.It seems to work well at 3.3V supply although the board mentions 3.6+V. This may vary from board to board.

Good Bluetooth Device (I am using it with arduino) It works good as a slave only unit, if you need master/slave combo order HC-05 instead.

AT Commands
Took some time to figure out that the AT commands for this HC-06 are different in the setup using an ARDUINO to change the settings... To change the name issue AT+NAME:name. The key is the colon : between the command and the value. To change the password or pin it's AT+PSWD:"0000"... the trick here was having to use the double quotes in addition to the colon instead of AT+PIN like other HC-06 datasheets specify. Would be nice if the delivery included the datasheet or provided a link to one.

the board died after some days of use
it's clear that the quality of this product is bad, the serial port died after some time, the bluetooth still alive and pares with the phone but the TX RX pins are dead, I have seen several review about same issue, I saw a poor guy lost his college project because that. the maker or doesn't test it or just uses crappy chips.

Well, Technically it works
The one I recieved technically does do what it says, but it won't respond to AT commands, so it is stuck at 9600. A little slow for my intended use case, but maybe I'll find something else to use it on later.

Facile avec Arduino mais pas visible par iOS
Les branchements et la mise en oeuvre sur Arduino sont aisés. Le bluetooth est visible d'un Mac Mini mais pas d'un iPhone.Il est détecté par un téléphone sous Android (Samsung Galaxy S7).

Ottima serial BT
Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro... dopo mesi dall'acquisto posso dire che funziona veramente bene.Paring con Lg G2, usata come seriale di arduino (sia Uno che Nano) verso il telefono senza alcun problema.I led blu e rosso cambiano il comportamento quando connesso/disconnesso e in trasmissione/ricezione dati.Pinout: Vcc stabilizzata a 5V, RX e TX diretti su arduino.
