Good M12 straight end with internal terminal block
This M12 male termination kit is easy to make up. You just terminate the the bare wires to the correct spots on the internal terminal block. I've used the 90 degree as well, and this brand seems to deliver. The wires are held securely and the captive screws do their job. The bag says you are buying directly from the factory with this brand. I highly recommend this brand for anyone needing M12/industrial cable products if you need something quick from Amazon.

Impressive construction!
Well made and solid. Nice cable retaining system and waterproofing with gaskets and o-rings. The brass wire fittings are clean and tidy with ferrous (i.e., you can use a magnetic driver) screws in the wire clamps. Field wirable which means field repairable, but I think I'll solder because of vibrations.I will be using this and corresponding male connector to enable quick disconnect of lighting system on a 4x4 roof basket which will be handy when I need to work on the truck in the garage as it won't fit without taking the basket off (and, even then, just barely - need to air down...) Also handy just in case of low parking garages.

M12 wireable plug connector works but specs are missing some crucial details
I used this field wireable M12 D-coded male plug to repair a damaged M12 plug on an M12 to RJ45 communications cable commonly used for industrial Ethernet/IP or PROFINET connections applications. It worked for my needs but it wasn't quite the wiring experience I was expecting and I feel like the product specifications of this plug need more details added so the user knows exactly what they are getting.Inside the plug are nice screw terminal sockets for connecting your wires too but the sockets are LARGE, making the connection to a small wire a bit tricky because the wire gets pushed to the side of the socket. Because I used this for repairing a CAT5e networks coms cable, my wires were only 24 AWG and these screw terminals are easily big enough to accept up to ~14 AWG wire. D-coded M12 plugs are a very common industry standard for network coms protocols so there's no needs for such a large terminal socket on these or the acceptable wire gauge range should at least be specified in the product listing. The second issue I had was that there is no specification on the maximum OD of the cable jacket diameter that can fit into the connector housing. The CAT5e cable jacket of my cable (OD = 0.265"/6.75mm) just barely fit in and that was a real pain to get it through the hole in connector back shell. Once the cable was in the shell, I could not get the compression nut threaded in with the rubber seal also installed. I'm strictly using the cable in an office environment and don't care about moisture resistance so I have to remove the seal and only left the plastic compression insert in place for strain relief and discarded the sealing gasket that goes with it. Once again, the product specifications really should state a min/max cable OD to work with this connector.
