Super Bright Pocket Light
First and foremost this is the brightest pocket light I have ever owned. Since I rarely use max brightness the battery lasts a long time. It offers numerous modes and brightness levels. Each have to be accessed with a special press of the multifunction on off switch. It's worth learning the different functions to take full advantage of this great light. And important mode is the lock mode which prevents the light from turning on inadvertently. It's important because you don't want it to accidentally turn on in your pocket. It will burn you on high intensity. Let's just say that was a learned experience.

Great flashlight, but be careful
I've owned 2. First from here, second directly from the company itself. I use them daily as my light of choice for my job as an armed security guard. They work really well. Heads up, if you drop it, hold the light button for 5 seconds and it fixes it.During the times that I do not have to use the light, it sits in my pocket. Sometimes, the light button gets clicked. You'll know its on within 5 minutes. I usually keep my mode on turbo as you never know when you need to draw and blind someone. Within 5 minutes of the light being in your pocket, you will burn a hole in your pants and feel the burn on your leg. A minute ago, my pocket was smoking as the light burned my pocket's sewing thread from the repairs of the previous burns. If you use this as a security guard, I highly recommend you get a flashlight holder and leave it there.

Great output for the size and excellent run time!
Pros:-6500K tint(Domed CREE XHP70.2)-good combination of flood and throw-comfortable to carry in pocket-includes everything needed(the light, pocket clip, battery, lanyard, charging cable, spare o-ring, pouch)-very bright!-simple UI, easy to use-21700 cell has great runtime-fast on board charging-charging indicator(red when charging and green when done)-5 year warranty-doesn’t get too hot to holdCons:-Tail cap is not removable(only the head is removable)-would have preferred a nylon holster instead of the pouch(my personal preference)Overall,I’m happy with it. I’ve been wanting a 21700 light for a little more power and battery life than my Klarus E1(also a great light) and this G15 fit my needs perfectly.

Klarus G15 Warning tale
I purchased the Klarus G15 2 weeks ago after doing diligence to various flashlight reviews at Amazon and on net. I was looking for a higher ANSI lumen output as I spend most of the summer backpacking and like to see what's moving around out in the bush. I will start by saying this flashlight is tremendously bright and will flood the hillside providing great range (approximately to 600 ft) I was very pleased by the test range I used at the trailhead the night before hitting the dirt and despite nearly a full moon the flood and throw were very impressive. The torch is very compact and light with a sturdy casing. Here's my problem. I packed it with my Petzl Actic Core in a small mesh holster surrounded by my Arc'teryx Kyanite Fleece Jacket. At our afternoon lunch break, I dug into my pack to notice a burning smell emanating from the pack. I quickly traced it to the flashlight and noticed that the light had somehow come on and the side switch was extremely hot to the touch. I had put the Klarus in the small velour carrying case (see pic). It had burned a hole in the carrying bag and was starting to do a number on my $160 fleece jacket. I have no idea what would have happened if I hadn't found the light when I did. I can visualize smoke wafting out of my Dana Designs backpack. I have never had a problem with any light source accidentally coming on during a trip. I'm not altogether sure that the light was burning from the bezel peel reflector because the side switch was very hot to touch just turning the light off. There is a small warning near the glass that states "Hot" but doesn't do much good now. In the last picture you can see the melting of the fabric of my jacket. If I would have known of the danger, I would have taken the battery out before packing.I see many people are very happy with their G15 and perhaps this was just freak accident but buyer beware.

Quality little light
I own a Nitecore 4400 lumen light ( E4K ) And this is in Everyway its equal . tuff, waterproof, bright, & reliable. priced just a little less , but not by enough to make a big deal about. Easy operation , and maintenance. I swap back and forth as the batteries need recharging and they are both wonderful .If you want a good every day carry , This is not a bad way to go. I will by another as a gift for a friend I am sure.

Good quality
Great little flashlight but a little pricey.Gets awfully hot on high setting. Wish it had a tail switch. Gets the job done!

Bright and works as advertised!!!
This is by far my favorite flashlight and I carry at least 8-10 on me every day at work as a Building/Home Inspector.I love the compact size and the ability to clip it right on my belt. It's definitely the brightest light that I carry! The only concern is the heat that it generates when on full power for long periods of time. It gets pretty warm, even for an ex welder like me.
