Good little sponge mop at a fair price
Good quality mop at a fair price. I use this for all my nasty spills or pickups. But it works great. It has a squeegee mounted on one side. I used it to clean my windows this afternoon.

Well made and sturdy
This is a sturdy tool. We have puppies that sometimes miss their mark in the laundry room when it's raining outside. The pads work when they hit the mark, if they miss, we do the work to clean up. This mop does the trick!!

A decent mop-- some design flaws
This is a three star mop, but I am giving it four because it is decent, and these days even a decent mop is hard to find. My biggest question when reading the reviews was whether this would leave the floor too wet. I read someone say "streaky." IT absolutely does not leave the floor too wet, nor streaky. The sponge part of the mop does a great job leaving the floor as wet or as dry as you want, depending on the pressure you put on the mop head. It is a sponge, obviously, so if you press hard enough you can get it to leave water on the floor if you want to, but under normal pressure it will leave you with as nice an "almost dry floor" as you could want. Depending on the angle of the sponge this mop skips a bit on the pull-back stroke, which is fine, I guess. I think that most mop heads will require a precise technique if you want to avoid that. The size is good because while a little narrower than mops from decades past, this means that it fits into the top of standard round bucket pretty well. This size also doesn't really seem to affect the size of the task much, so overall the size is a benefit. My biggest gripe with this mop, is the location of the wring lever. I much prefer a ring lever closer to the top of the mop. The wring lever on this is quite low causing the user to have to bend over the bucket to wring it. Aside from the inconvenience of a sore back, there is also a greater risk to clothing damage if you are using a cleaner like bleach, due to close proximity of the mop and bucket to the upper torso when you wring it. I don't want a mop to require I wear special clothes and shower afterwards. I'd remove three stars for this, but given the lack of competition-- I didn't. Second is more of a concern than a flaw, the plastic tab that holds the mop head on is pretty thin. That aspect doesn't seem that sturdy to me, but so far the mop-head has stayed snug. I've mopped a 6x8 room about 10 times. Lastly, the pieces of the handle screw together, and inevitably they do loosen and have to be retightened every so often. Would I buy this again? Yes, but I would leave it in a heart-beat for something half-way decent with a lever closer to the top.

Works okay. Has some drawbacks.
Unlike many reviewers I had no trouble at all getting the sponge off and on. It was simple to put together. I really wanted to like this mop but the pole extension attachment keeps loosening and I have to keep tightening it. Also the sponge is rounded so you don't get as much surface contact as you would with a flat rectangular sponge. It is difficult to get into corners. The mechanism to squeeze the water out works very well. It is just okay and as I don't need to use it that often it will suffice.

Reliable and effective
Cleans tile and hard floors efficiently with strong water absorption. Easy to use, sturdy enough for regular home cleaning, and the extra sponge heads add good value. Works well in bathrooms, kitchens, and garages.

Works Well And Easy To Use!
I really like this Yocada Sponge Mop. It is easy to assemble and use. The mop seems sturdy, and should stand up well under repeated use. The mop head is nicely engineered and easy to install or remove. The ringer feature is very intuitive and works well to squeeze the water from the sponge head. The brush / squeegee attachment is a nice feature for added versatility for cleaning chores. I used my Yocada mop on the same day I received it to clean my kitchen floor, and it did an excellent job.

Make these tweaks before using!
This is now the best mop I have found, but it definitely needs tweaking before you use it. First, it comes collapsed in a box, so the handle is in several pieces. It is telescopic, but upon use within one or two swipes of the mop, regardless of how tight you tighten it, the mop handle collapses. To save yourself much aggravation (and a few bad words!), before you even use it, wrap the thinnest silver pole with several rounds of duct tape (just below where the pole tightening mechanism is, but on the protruding pole below), so the pole cannot collapse when in use. If you need to collapse this for storage, you could drill a hole through the handles and insert a cotter pin instead of using the duct tape. The second problem with this mop is the attached scrubber piece. First off, this prevents you from mopping underneath cabinets, or under the dishwasher, etc. It sticks up too far and scratches up your woodwork. Also, when you try to apply pressure to use it to get a spot off the floor, the mop handle collapses again. Take the scrubber thing off and throw it out - you’ll. have no problems. This mop sponge is good enough you can scrub just using that. (Note: The manufacturers would do well to put the money for this little piece into drilling a hole in the handle posts and providing a cotter pin – that would be way more beneficial to the customers than this little scrubber contraption.) I did find the sponge, and this mop to be the best on the current market. I have bought the foamy sponge type mops, the microfiber mops, the long awkward mops that don’t fit in buckets and are awkward to wring out, a rope self-wringing mop… all kinds! This is the best on the market once you’ve done the few tweaks I’ve mentioned above 😊. I rated it a 4 only because you have to “fix it” before it works well, but then you’ll be very happy with it!

Yes, this is what I've been looking for. The handle is strong, you can rely on it and it doesn't break after 3 uses like the cheap ones. Very sturdy! And mops well

I actually bought this to clean my ceiling. It was getting a little dirty in some areas, and the handle on this mop is really long. The build quality is good, and the sponge is good. Overall a good mop. Hopefully they will be around long enough for me to still be able to get refills when I need them. Good thing it came with a spare.
