CCISO Certified Chief Information Security Officer All-in-One Exam Guide 1st Edition

This was a very good book. The practice test questions helped me a lot as well. I am now using their CEH book to study for the CEH exam. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their material to prep for other certifications.

All material is covered on exam

I see reviews recommending buying expensive EC council books, and claiming this book is not enough. This book is certainly enough, but it is crucial that you have some actual real world ITSEC experience. If you are just trying to get a CISO cert without any job experience, then no single book is going to help you. In order to truly understand the concepts, you need to have done some of the job. You cannot read a book and suddenly be a doctor either.If you are buying this as a cheat sheet to the getting the cert, then you are doing it wrong. This book should be used to fill in gaps and provide a framework of the knowledge needed to pass the test. If you have that, this book is all you need.

I just failed the exam by four questions.This book is good, but the exam covers corporate finance, ISO 27004, 27005, ITIL, and other topics that the book does not get into. You will need more.I studied this book hard and took the practice tests, but the real test asks many times, "What is the MOST important things to do when...?" and "What should you do FIRST when...?" and then lists a number of relevant answers. In my opinion, more scenario training is essential. The book is almost absent scenario training.

Helpful in preparing for the exam

Not so good information in the book. Terms and methodologies were not consistent with the curriculum that is in the EC Council official body of knowledge. The EC Council book is $500.00 but well worth it. I bought this book to supplement my knowledge but it turns out that it had no value at all. I'm not sure what they mean by "all in one" exam guide. You will need to buy the EC Council book or you will not pass the exam.
