Definitely one of the best, yet underrated supplements to have in your cabinet. It wasn't until the doctor recommended it to my husband, that I looked into and found that it was just as beneficial for women. So, now this is a regular supplement for us. This band is small and easy to swallow. No side effects or residual bad taste left in the mouth after taking.

I am not aware of an energy function. I take them in tandem with another product for long term maintenance of my eyes.
