Rust-Oleum 327941 American Accents Spray Paint, 12 Oz, Satin Dark Walnut

I was given a bird cage with a bit of surface rust. I sprayed this on the rusted areas, with a few coats, and used that cage for over 6 months till I got a bigger one. Remember if something is rusted through it is severely weakened, so you can't just use this on a completely rusted cage and expect it to be good as new, but it's good for hiding surface rust from curious beaks. I would not recommend it for a bird that chews on bars though, as it can be chipped off, especially in the first few weeks after applying. Was not an issue for my amazon parrot. This spray was easy to use, after reading all the directions for use, and worked as hoped and expected.

Easy to use: absolutely. Tear off lid, shake can, and spray delicately from a distance. 5/5 Sheerness: I got this for the price of 3$, and I wasn't expecting TOO much from this, but I'll let the photos do the talking. The paint itself looks good enough to fool you to think it's higher quality. The paint itself vs the elements, long term effects and ability to still be sheer/shine/gloss is unknown. 4/5 Adhesion: For the plank of wood that's above my door, I only had to apply two coats, 10 minutes apart, with slight touch ups in small areas. As you can see, it's been a few days under a porch, and it looks good. No dripping except for obvious over coating/overs praying. 5/5

Typically i treat a lot of my farm gear with Spray paint as things always get left out in the weather on the property, for weeks sometimes.... and this paint does well preserving the handles on hand implements, etc. What i love it for the most, STICKS TO METAL ...where Point of Impacts are. I have tried a variety of other WellKnown brands for one specific thing, Targets, rtepainting, repeatedly, during rain. A proper AR500 Target is slanted at 20degree. This leaves a slight bit of indirect water. BUT, even when wet, the gongs hold it too. I have tried SO MANY paints for shooting. This is SUPERIOR. I love how it flakes off in the pattern of whatever is being vaporized.

This works great on plastic. We used it to paint the outlet box hookup for our washing machine in our laundry room. The one we had on there had sun faded to a dingy, yellowish color. It was easy to spray paint & the flat white color is perfect. It went from looking really bad to crisp & clean. It was really convenient to be able to order online & have it shipped right to the door without having to go to the store & sort thru all the color combinations. Paid under $4 & I'm not sure what the cans typically cost in store, but I thought it was a great deal.

Decent quality spray paint... i’ve been using this brand for years and you can’t go wrong with rust oleum if you want to do the job properly. There are other brands that will work nearly as well so it definitely comes down to pricing and color selection. Retailers are all over the map regarding value, and it changes daily like the stock market. This red color is nice & recommended. Suggest a trigger adapter for larger jobs that require more than 1 can...

This paint was a good price for what I needed for and I didn’t have to drive to the hardware store and waste gas to go to a hardware store, etc. etc. it sprays good. I like the color.

I’ve been staring at this ugly piece of furniture for almost six years. I got fed up with seeing it in my granddaughter’s videos, so I bought this. This is probably the first time I have used a spray paint and it didn’t run, didn’t spray wide and get on other things. The spray came out painting only what I was pointing too. It covered evenly. It’s a great spray paint. I’ll buy this again for my next project.

I USED IT ON A DIECAST MODEL WORKED VERY WELL.
