I'm 56, broke my shoulder in three places, required surgery. For a woman who loves to get home at the end of the day and take the bra off...living without one (because you can't get one one) for almost a month was just horrible. I asked my Orthopedic surgeon as well as my Physical therapist (both males) of any ideas. My surgeon told me I might never wear a back fastening bra again and my Physical Therapist stated that all his clients had told him was to fasten it in the front and "work it around to the back." Needless to say...I got to searching. I found this bra, just put it on today...and I am SOOOOO happy!! Fits so well, is well made, and no pain. I've been at work for 4 hours now and still NO pain! I don't normally writer reviews, but I even called to tell Camille (lady who answered the phone)...just HOW wonderful I think this bra is.Trust me on this one..you won't be disappointed. They even put a sticker on the packaging that states they hope you're doing well with recovery...also made in the USA!!! You really can't beat it.

I had rotator cuff surgery a week ago. I had bought one of these bras before the surgery ton take with me to the hospital to wear post-surgery. The nurses were able to get it on me very easily, and it is very soft and comfortable. I bought a second one so I can rotate them through washings. I can put it on myself, except I have to have my husband do up the Velcro on my bad shoulder.

I bought this bra for use after a surgery on my rotator cuff . It was a lifesaver. Since I do not have mobility it allows me to wear a bra when I otherwise could not get a regular one on. The Velcro in front between my breasts does tend to bulge out so you will need to choose your clothes carefully to hide that bulge . I would highly recommend this bra for anyone recovering from a surgery or for anyone who is not able to reach around to put a bra on normally.

I had shoulder surgery and would not be able to put my normal bra on for months. When you have to leave the house for appointments or to shop, especially if you have much of a bust, you generally have to have something like a bra to keep the girls relatively in place.It has velcro straps on the shoulders in case you have to open that area up for putting on or taking off. The front closure can be handled with one hand, and you can use your chin to brace part of it while you do. It is large, but one does not want to be constricted after any surgery requiring use of this kind of bra.It really is large, but after any surgery on the torso or shoulder area, you'll be wearing big blouses anyway, so the largeness shouldn't be a limiting factor.The materials used are soft and if you're careful, the velcro does not hurt or gouge. It was worth it. You won't be using it too much for a while anyway, so I just got one and washed it out in the sink when it needed a wash. No need to get too many. I thought it served me well.

this bra is AMAZING. i had a double mastectomy and the bras at the hospital (even the 2x) were SO tight and uncomfortable. these fit great and are so comfy.

I had open heart surgery so I needed a bra that allowed extra comfort where my incision is. I am placing gauze where my incision opened. I ordered a size up and not only is this easy to put on, it holds my gauze! Life saver!

Great in the first couple days post op but when washed and hung dry the Velcro curled And wouldn’t lay smooth again.Would not buy again.

Very well made, packaged beautifully, very comfy. Just what I needed. Wish they were a little less pricey so I could have more than one.
